I ordered beef and bean burrito 2/24/2026. And it was disgusting. One the “beef” was pink and didn’t look like beef at all. It smelled weird and left a nasty after taste. Literally taste like dog or cat food and looks to be so. Possibly canned meat. Never eating Santiago’s again. Complete waste of money.

Dont do many reviews, but I had to for this order. I ordered a breakfast burrito bowl with steak, and right off the bat, it looks like beef stew or something…overdone steak….and there are no eggs or potatoes or anything…just steak. Check your order before leaving. Also, my wife ordered a sausage breakfast burrito bowl with no sausage. She ate hers up too quickly though lol. Very chaotic, and overall not a great experience today.

I am disappointed by the fact that you cannot order what you want. You can only order what the special is for the day. BOGUS. They don’t know how to roll a burrito, One bite and it all falls apart. Extra charges if you use card not cash. Don’t bother coming here.

Staff is great, food is good, I wouldn’t say great but really good. I’m from west Texas so I’m probably judging to harshly on the food. The Pepsi is awesome here. The atmosphere is typical family owned Mexican restaurant. Nice enough to eat at but u can go in your pajamas. The area is a bit rough so they kept the vibe which is a good thing. The girls at the drive through are always nice and show off pretty smiles. It gets a 5 star because it’s what most of us remember of small neighborhood restaurants growing up. It’s kinda nostalgic. Not super corporatized ad just simple good Mexican food from good people.

While not the most welcoming or nicest santiago’s location this franchise excells in the overall taste and quality in their food, I’ve visited multiple locations and this one by far exceeds in flavors and expectations in terms of flavor and spice their green Chilli us unmatched as well as their chips and salsa I felt as these are a tier higher than other locations. Overall I highly recommend this location above the rest even with its somewhat unappealing atmosphere.

Waited in the drive thru, which extended onto the street and blocked other businesses, for about 15 mins for the line to barely move through one car. Parked and ordered inside and got my food immediately. Not sure what the point of the drive thru is if it doesn’t move faster than going inside. They need to have more people working the drive thru or tell people with large orders to pull over. Also there was very limited parking. I think I will continue going to the location on Hampden which is bigger and has more parking.

Im usually not one to complain but one can only take so many orders wrong. I don’t mean to be rude but they need to get someone who speaks or understands English better when they are taking orders over the phone. I’ve placed 4 orders over the phone and 3 of them have been wrong. I never complained until I few days ago when they got the order wrong and I even took a picture of how the carnitas were burnt. When I called back they said they would make my order for free and when I went to pick it up they said no one ever called.

This is the worst Santiago’s in the Denver area. Their Breakfast burritos are bland. Eggs and potatoes aren’t seasoned and tortillas are dry. I decided to try a smothered burrito and ate in. It was room temperature. The cheese wouldn’t even melt and the chili wasn’t temperature hot. How is it not piping hot when I ordered at the register? I also got hot chili and it was mild AF. The chili also had no flavor to it. The beef wasn’t seasoned. It was disgusting. Avoid this location at all costs

I went through the drive thru so as far as the the dine in experience goes I have been to Santiago experience goes ive noticed these are usually pretty hole in the wall , but with that being said they I do say that they are usually really clean snd the employees are usually really nice and helpful . Perfect for to go orders or a quick lunch . I just would take your first date out to dinner here ?
