The food was decent, but it is crazy expensive! Idk, maybe I don’t get out enough & all Mexican fast food restaurants cost an arm & a leg these days. The food was decent, but not decent enough to pay $11.00 for a breakfast burrito. Initially I wanted a breakfast platter, but after finding out the wanted almost $15 for it & that I could get the same thing rolled up in a flour tortilla for several dollars less, I opted for the burrito. Sorry, but I won’t be going back to this place.

Order al pastor tacos and the flavor was good but a little on the dry side. The tortillas were okay as well. Received a nice amount of food as well. The customer service was good.

The cashier was nice but as soon as we sat down to wait for our food we noticed all the black mold on the ceiling and the wet ceiling tiles 🙁 we obviously asked for a refund and left but shame on the owners for making their staff work under such horrible conditions. If they neglect the lobby this bad imagine how they must be cutting corners where the food is concerned, honestly where are the inspectors??

The food was fine I ordered the enchilada plate but my horchata tasted sour, I’m scared to drink it. Never experienced that before.

Gross my coworker and I went for lunch and the food was super greasy and my tripa tacos were full of fat pieces. The Asada meat was dry and burnt. The Horchata was full of powder with every drink. I wouldn’t recommend.

Today I decided to break from my usual lunch routine and give Santana’s a try after seeing a few appealing photos and posts online. I opted for the drive-thru, so I can’t speak to the dine-in experience or atmosphere.

Unfortunately, my visit left me unsure about whether I’d return. While the restaurant wasn’t busy, it took a noticeable amount of time before anyone acknowledged me at the speaker. That alone wasn’t a dealbreaker, but there were a few red flags that followed. After placing my order, I wasn’t given a total, and when I got to the window, I still received no total or receipt. If not for my bank app notifying me of the charge, I wouldn’t have known how much I paid for lunch.

I ordered a carne asada quesadilla and a Dr. Pepper. The food took a bit to come out, which I assumed meant it was being made fresh — a good sign. Visually, the quesadilla looked fantastic and I was genuinely excited to dig in. However, the first bite was a letdown. While the portion of carne asada was generous, the meat itself lacked seasoning and flavor. The sauce included with the meal ended up doing all the heavy lifting.

In short, Santana’s had potential but fell short on execution. There were some positives — portion size and presentation — but basic flavor and customer service details missed the mark. I might give it another chance, but I’d go in with cautious expectations.
