Such yummy food!! We enjoyed our tacos, burritos, nachos, and margs!! Nothing disappointed. Even just the simple chips and salsa or guac was a hit!! The employees were also so sweet when one person in our group tripped and fell carrying nachos from the pick up area and they immediately jumped to help and got it and her all cleaned up!!

Wasn’t expecting a counter order place when we went here. Food is ordered at counter and made fresh. The birria tacos were great. Very tender meat that was well seasoned. Chips and Queso were good. Chips are made in house and are served warm. You seat yourself and pick up order at counter when its ready.Additional seatingnkn outdoor patio for warmer weather. Upstairs seating has alot of room for bigger parties.

Love this place so much!! They have an amazing margarita menu, and I got their seasonal pomegranate margarita. Switched it up this time and got the bowl with mushrooms as a great gluten free and vegetarian entree. All were delicious!!

I normally avoid eating Mexican but here I loved nachos preparation. Too good it was and then some two more dishes. One was wrap kind of a thing n other was rice and black beans n avocado But it was good. Wrap was ok but nachos were really GOOD my friends enjoyed their meal too

What an incredible dining experience. I found this place while en route to another destination. I saw the patio, and the margaritas looked great, so I stopped. Everything was perfect from the hello, and welcome greeting all the way until I left. This fine establishment is managed very well. You can tell they take a lot of pride here. It is very clean, the food is insanely delicious, and the margaritas are top shelf. This is by far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in DC, and I know good food, taste, and quality being from Houston! Give these guys a try. You’ll be glad you did. Also Anthony, the general manager, was a great guy, and I made it a point to thank him for the sincere service and the excellent dinner and drinks I had. I will most definitely be back! Hottest happy hour on the hill, indeed!

My sister and I visited in the evening of Halloween 2024 and it was fairly busy. However, we were able to find seating out on the patio after ordering our meal at the register. The tables could have benefit from more regular cleaning, but as I mentioned, it was fairly busy and there were lots of groups with young children leaving as we arrived. We ordered a couple of different tacos, and a steak quesadilla. We ordered short rib barbocoa, steak asada, fried fish, diablo shrimp, and crispy fried spicy shrimp taco. Each of the tacos came with some kind of coleslaw and sauce. I appreciate the combinations but overall, I think the tacos had too many toppings. The flavor of the proteins was solid, but not amazing. The toppings didn’t add much to the overall taste and made the tacos super messy. However the steak quesadilla really good. We also got two rounds of the happy hour margaritas (which came with chips and salsa). My sister’s first margarita was skinny but she didn’t like it much since the sweetener tasted very artificial. The regular classic margaritas were good though. Overall, this was a nice casual spot to grab some food quickly. Being in Capitol Hill, the parking is always going to be a slight challenge but we ended up finding parking right out front after just one lap around the block. With so many good options for food in DC and the surrounding areas, I probably won’t visit again.

The food was good. The Combo is a little pricey for just 2 small tacos and nachos. But the tacos had a lot of toppings on top. (Can be positive or negative depending on preferences) The atmosphere was great.

Great service, atmosphere and delicious food. Got the Skinny Margarita Pitcher, pork belly taco, with the perfect amount of fat, large chips with guacamole which was perfectly seasoned The tortilla chips were hot out of the fryer, and the quesadilla was just right with a side of salsa, sour cream and Pico.
