My visit to Santa Rosa Market Restaurante was an absolutely wonderful experience that combined great food, welcoming service, and a comfortable atmosphere. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt a genuine sense of warmth that made the visit enjoyable right away.
The food was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Each dish had a rich, authentic taste that made the meal truly satisfying. You can tell that quality ingredients and traditional preparation are a priority here.
The portions were generous, and every plate arrived hot and beautifully presented. The menu offers a nice variety, making it easy to find something for any craving.
The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a relaxed and pleasant dining experience from start to finish.
Overall, Santa Rosa Market Restaurante delivers delicious food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming environment. I would absolutely return and recommend it to anyone in the Liberal area looking for a satisfying meal.

I love the fact that they’re very friendly and this restaurant he was very talkative and he was actually giving us samples of other foods and drinks that they have their without us paying extra. Tortillas are made by hand which is something I love. The Caldo de Rez was awesome and will definitely stop by here if I ever get hungry passing through Liberal Kansas.

It was a cold night so my husband and I chose the soups. The chicken soup and caldosa were both delicious and were served in huge bowls with yucca, sweet potato and chunks of meat. The pupusas were chewy and wonderful, too. The service was friendly and several things were offered just to taste. We loved the down home, colorful atmosphere. We wish we lived here and could eat there often, but we will definitely stop on every trip from Albuquerque to Topeka! We enjoyed everything about our experience there.

I stopped here with my family on a road trip to Arizona. It has quaint and homie feel. Everyone was welcoming. The pupusas are amazing! I grew up back east where we have a big Salvadorian communities and wow I never thought I’d find their competition in Kansas. This place is a must try if you’re a local and want to venture out on traditional Salvadorian cuisine or if your on the road and have a bit of time. Home cooked meals just like a traditional abuela would make.

Thank goodness for this spot. We had left Texas at dawn and I was worried that I would miss breakfast. This place was a life saver. I had the Central American Breakfast: two sunny side up eggs, fried bananas, sour cream and black beans (healthier than other beans). If you pass this spot do not miss out.

For central American fare to stand out in Liberal, it has to be something special, and this place is like walking into their home. Very welcoming family. Amazing pupusas. Tamales are Equatorian-style, sweeter than Mexican and. Could easily be a brunch dish.
