I usually only go to Santa Fe Burrito Grill because it’s the only spot nearby that has a burrito. This was my fifth visit, and out of all five times, only one visit was pretty okay. It’s honestly the most mediocre burrito I’ve had, but since it’s close, I went this time. I got my usual carne asada bowl, and I ate quickly, but about a quarter in, I felt like something was off. I felt like I couldn’t eat anymore—not because I was full, but because my stomach just didn’t want to finish. And usually I finish all my meals. I went back after my shift and spoke to the girl at the counter. She looked confused, like she knew she had to ask the owner before offering a solution. I’ve been to other places, like Qdoba, where they just know how to handle these situations, but here, when the owner came over, he barely looked at the bowl, laughed toward the girls for validation, like he was trying to get their support. They looked uncomfortable, like maybe this has happened before, but they weren’t sure what to do. He told me I couldn’t get a refund since I ate half (It wasn’t half, it was just my two normal bites). I explained I spat out the last bite, but he just said, “If you still feel bad, see a doctor,” and laughed again toward the girls. I ended up throwing the bowl away, and I’ll be sure to tell my team, since they come here often. After how I was treated, I strongly advise staying away—there are much better options out there.
You would think that this place would do better with their customer service, considering their ratings aren’t the best, and they’ve only been open for a short time. Compared to a place like Achilito’s Taqueria, they’re not even in the same league.

1st time here & I didn’t feel like driving all the way to chipotle. This was around the corner from my house. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a rice bowl with carne asada. I got all the toppings I normally get and the meat was flavored well & tender. The portion was really good for the price as well. I’d come back when I get another craving for a rice bowl.

They have DoorDash on and accept orders and take your money. But close their doors on people trying to pick up the order. 4 days in a row! Shut off DoorDash if you can’t wait for orders to be picked up. They close before their online closing hours and don’t answer their phones. Disappointing ! Will stick to chipotle. These people go by their own rules and don’t care about their customers.
