Ordered via Door Dash on multiple occasions and haven’t been disappointed. The calzones are quite tasty. Wish they could be delivered warmer, though. Just arrives in the box. Otherwise, there are no qualms. And I will definitely order again!

If you want to eat excellent pizza and the most delicious lemon pepper wings, this is one of the places I can wholeheartedly recommend. (Eating in the restaurant’s outdoor space is an experience in downtown Birmingham that I would never skip if I were you.)

Ok. Imma keep this short cause I’m tired. Pizza – C. Wings – B+. Salad – B. I judge places by if I would go back again, and I would. This place is similar to Papa Johns. It’s not an “authentic” pizza joint, and that’s ok. A medium 2 topping pizza with 10 wings, a small salad, and a 20 oz soda for $40 bucks. It’s cool.

Decided to try Sanpeggio’s for the first time tonight (Sunday Oct. 29th at 6:30pm). Had high hopes of this becoming a regular place for me and my wife since we live only 7 minutes away by car. Ordered a 16″ pizza using their website, sausage on the whole thing, green pepper on half and spinach on half. When I picked up the pizza, I opened the lid and didn’t see any sausage at all. I pointed this out to the workers there and they assured me that they did put sausage on it, and that it was “under the cheese”. I took that on faith and returned home.
Well, the joke was on me because although there was a bit of sausage flavor, there was absolutely no actual sausage on the pizza at all (see the photos I took). No sausage on top of the cheese, no sausage underneath. I assume that they mix a little sausage grease into the sauce to make it taste a bit like sausage and give it a greasy mouthfeel, hoping you won’t notice that there’s not actually any sausage there. I can’t imagine why the owners of this place think this is any way to treat customers. Needless to say, I’ll never be back.

Been looking for calzone since I left a chain it specializes in calzones and strombolis. I’ve got over 50 years experience in food service. Got to say your pizza, the small 7-in supreme and calzone build your own. They are outstanding? I have a question what is the discrepancy between DoorDash and GrubHub in ordering as an example the calzones as shown in the pictures also GrubHub if ordered $10 off first order but none for your door dash

We’d been wanting to try this place for a good two years now. And boy, oh boy am I glad we did! My picture is a bit blurry so it doesn’t exactly do this place justice.. But everything was so fresh and phenomenally delicious. We ordered an extra large super duper supreme, 24 piece buffalo wings and a large Greek salad. This is our new pizza spot, and well worth every penny. Also, the Greek salad was HUGE and so fresh that I was able to eat on it for a few days!

We love SanPeggio’s and were so excited when they opened a location in 5 Points South! Our favorite pizza is the Spinach & Bacon Alfredo. Keep in mind that it’s more of a stop-in for lunch or take-out type spot.
