We didn’t know what to expect, my daughter and I had a long day at Children’s Mercy and she wanted sushi. Not only was it affordable, the flavors were amazing! The sushi was perfect (I’m picky about sushi) and the miso soup added a wonderful touch. The service was personal and the server shared our excitement hearing that it was out first time eating at a Ramen restaurant! I recommend this place and experience to anyone visiting the area!

The tonkotsu ramen was good. The egg’s an add on and it’s worth it. My bowl smelled fishy but didn’t taste fishy. Not sure why that was.
I asked the kitchen questions and they told me the broth is made in house. The dining area has a wall that is an eyesore it needs to be repainted and I let them know.

Food took a while to come out, but when it did… presentation was perfect, flavor was fantastic, and I will be recommending this place to my fellow sushi lovers!! And it’s nice to have Authentic sushi so close to home!!

Delicious sushi (and more) in RP! It’saboutD-time! Honestly, we enjoyed everything we had (even the spam dish). The pork dumplings are outstanding, and the sushi is some of the best I’ve had in the city to date. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their extensive menu. Dine-in is VERY hands-off, so prepare for the kiosk ordering system when you walk in and sit yourself. There is a minimalist approach and vibe, but the food is definitely “more.” The place was doing a ton of take-out the day we went, so they are clearly doing something right!

Great spot to get poke in Kansas City. This has become my go-to spot for great poke, with the fish always being tasty and fresh. Building your own poke bowl comes with plenty of options and the portions are generous. Always friendly when picking up to-go orders. Highly recommend.

This has become our go to ramen/sushi restaurant. It’s simple but delicious. The ramen can be made to order and there are a variety of different bases to choose from. Beautiful and clean decor. Staff is friendly and helpful. Absolutely wonderful experience.

The food was mid at best, it wasn’t really giving restaurant it was giving grocery store quality. I couldn’t even finish the food, they added so much cucumber in one of my sushi rolls as a “substitute” to avocado that all you could taste was the cucumber. The crab was dry and the rice was sad. I would not eat here again, I am upset that I spent my money here because I ended up throwing half of it away.
That being said, the atmosphere wasn’t bad, it wasn’t very busy and they did have an ordering kiosk which I appreciated and the wait wasn’t too long.

The food at Sannin is good, we’ve visited a few times since the opening and have had decent experiences thus far. However, tonight, we asked for sauce for one of our poke bowls “on the side”, and the sauce was placed inside the bowl. Please, please do not do this again. This is unacceptable and unsanitary. Firstly, because putting TWO sauce containers inside an already small bowl limits the amount of actual food that can be put inside, which may have been the intention, we’re not sure. Secondly, because these sauce containers could have been stored on any surface in the restaurant, and then are being placed inside the bowl, touching our food. We would like to keep supporting this restaurant, but we urge you to consider making this change. Thank you.

This used to my 1# place to get food because the sushi was big portions but now it is so tiny. Not worth the 8 dollars a roll. I spent almost 50 dollars for this….
