one of my favorite places on the island, not only the food but great service as well and relaxed and neighborhood kind of feel but furnished with interesting island and sports motif. great fish but burgers are also a favorite. dont get it often but their key lime pie is very good too. ShockTop Belgian white type like Blue Moon is a very tasty draft always on tap. these folks know what they are doing and do it well!

The staff is friendly and food was amazing! We were able to watch our football game while having dinner. I had the grilled grouper with real mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. It was cooked beautifully. My to be husband had a pound of king crab legs. They are not on the menu but can be ordered. He said they were great!

My wife and I ate there when we were on Sanibel last week on November 17th. My wife had Blackened Grouper and I had the Crunchy Combo. Both meals we excellent and finished up with a nice warm pecan pie that we shared. Our waitress Alyssa was awesome. Great place for drinks and dinner. Highly recommend this place

We love this place! Food is good. They offer Gluten Free options right on the menu! Oysters are fresh and lots of variety. My favorite items are the Big Bang Shrimp (gluten free) , steamed oysters with lemon butter parmesan and the Crunchy Grouper Rueben. Blue Crab Bisque is awesome!!!! Seating is limited. Dogs allowed outside. Very accommodating. Will bring your dog their own water dish.

Drove down to Sanibel for no reason. Stopped in at Sanibel Grill before we headed back to Tampa. The oysters were delish. Haven’t had oysters in a while. Had the salad with the cranberries and almonds. Very, very good. Lots of TV’s for the game. Did have to listen to the table in front of us discussing who was the fattest. Honestly, the last thing I wanted to hear. Three or four lovely ladies without an ounce of fat on them, all beautiful and they don’t realize their worth or how others see them. Confidence is extremely sexy, putting yourself down is not. Just putting that out there. Anyway, food was great, beer was great, service good, atmosphere very good. Would dine here again.

Visited in Jan 2022. Just now had time to review. It’s a busy place, but the bartender and waitress were still efficient, pleasant, and quick. Food was delicious. I had the bang bang shrimp and piña colada…yum! My husband had the french onion soup which he loved. Will return to this place!

Food had some good and some not so good items.. one item not good was the hamburger which was lacking, it probably would had been good except for the fact it was so undercooked it was mooing.. the drinks were great and going a few times over the last few months you can enjoy the camadrie of the place, as well it isn’t so crowded if you go off-season.. after the last very crowded visit, we’ll probably not be back til after the crazy in-season rush… But if you do go..go off hours to really enjoy your meal or cocktails.. the young lady that waited on us at the bar was awesome but the hostess needs to take lessons from her for she was not.. otherwise a nice place to go eat, drink and hangout.

The Timbers has always been one of the top two restaurants on Sanibel, and Sanibel Grill takes the flavors of Timbers and injects it into a more fun and casual atmosphere. Everything I have ever ordered has been so fresh and so full of flavor. For an appetizer I always suggest the fish fingers, but it’s hard to pick a favorite for a meal because they are so so good! Anything with fish or shrimp is a mall you will remember.
