I was finally able to make it to their Coral Gables location for lunch today after hearing so much about this place. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I ordered the croqueta preparada, boniato fries and mamey shake. I had plans to order the pan con lechon and pan con bistec on the way out to bring home to my family but decided not to after eating my sandwhich.
The bread was left in the toaster too long and did not feel fresh at all. The meats in the sandwich were barely enough. The entire sandwich felt very dry. I only ate half of it. The fries were a bit overdone in my opinion and not really good. The mamey shake was OK, nothing special, just like the rest of the meal. I will continue going to my local cuban cafeteria where it is much easier to find a parking spot, and the food is way more authentic, delicious and less expensive.

Great sandwiches! We had these a while back in the Calle 8 location. This place is so much better: quieter, calmer, cleaner. Great service as well. Loved the sweet potato fries, highly recommend getting them!

Ambiance is nice. Located on the ground floor of the plaza development. Staff are friendly but the Cuban sandwich I had was disappointing. No better than most I’ve had in miami. I’ve heard good things so I had high expectations but it was very average, from the bread to the pork to the presentation.

I really wanted a last Cuban sandwich before we departed Miami for our cruise and Sanguich was pretty close to our hotel. We were there around 10:30AM so there weren’t a ton of people, but they were definitely doing a lot of take out / delivery orders.
I had the croquetta sandwich, my husband had the bistec sandwich, and my mom had their turkey sandwich. All of the sandwiches were quite good, but I think the bread was a bit too crispy for my taste.
Staff were all super nice and very helpful and friendly.

Sanguich is expanding throughout town without compromising on the quality.
I was at their new location at the Plaza in Coral Gables this last weekend, and it tasted as great as the first time I had it about 3 years ago at their original location in Calle 8.
I like they are keeping the stores uniformity in terms of walls’ colors, chairs, etc. Yes, this location is much bigger and kind of more modern than the original but still you get the same feeling.
As for the sandwich, oh boy, I don’t think I have had a better Cuban sandwich in town, and I have had a lot of them. The quality and flavors are top notch, and the crispiness of the bread is at a different level, it’s just perfect.
The croquettes are not the best I have ever had, but they are at 4 out of 5. What I most like is that they fry it just for you, so it’s crispy and warm.

The sandwiches were great. The steak sandwich was not the traditional Cuban steak sandwich and that is what made this one great. The coffee milk shake is a must get. The Cuban was amazing as well.
