The. Best. Steak in town!!!! Cooked to order and delicious. The whipped potatoes are some of the best I have ever had. Our server, Brittany was so sweet and friendly and very efficient. We had the homemade ice cream for dessert and let me tell you……you won’t find better ice cream ANYWHERE!

Outstanding food and service. All of the beef comes from right there in the wet mountain valley. If you are having a celebration, call ahead. If available they will get a bottle of your preferred wine. Ambiance is exceptional and the overall cleanliness is unbelievable. I love how almost everybody knows each other and patrons often visit other tables to say hello to their friends.

I went to dinner with four other people and we had a wonderful time. The food is good and the menu is varied given the size of this tiny town. The five us had a total bill of $100 including a bottle of wine and one draft beer.
I had a blue cheese burger with thick-cut potato fries and an arugula salad. The burger was laden with delicious cheese and the thick cut potatoes were very good. The salad had lots of garlic, but I like that so it wasn’t an issue. Other items on the table were a broiled salmon, blackened tuna (the special), bruschetta, and a chicken salad. Everyone was happy with their food.
As the last reviewer pointed out, our server had some tattoos and the busser had green hair. They were both young (recent high-school grands), friendly and responsive to our needs.

We eat at Sangritas this evening. There was probably more wait staff than customers when we first arrived. The food was ok. However, the wait staff seemed lost and they seemed to have absolutely no direction or training. Also, there was long hair without any restraints.
We arrived at 6 pm and did not have our dinner delivered to our table until after 7 pm.

Westcliffe is so fortunate to have this gem. They have made a tremendous effort to deliver a truly farm to table experience. Even the beer is local, from just down the hill at Florence Brewing Company! And the taste is rewarded by their efforts – so fresh, so delicious. These attributes have to put it in a class of its own for our region, and in a very rare class for all of Colorado I’m sure.

We were pleasantly surprised when we decided to eat here due to a kitchen fire across the street at Chappy’s. The burger was excellent and the Chicken Quesadilla fantastice. Just want we needed after a week in the backcountry.

Lots of fun choices on the menu made it hard to choose! But I will never regret the fish tacos and tortilla soup. A special place with a comfortable atmosphere.

We use to love this place, but new ownership has been bad for it. Bad service, very long wait time for food, incorrect food, limited menu, and quailty is way down. Hopefully they get their act together, but for now I would not recommend.
