My bf brought me here for lunch on 1/9/26. Austin was our server, he was great, very knowledgeable in menu & answering questions, & super friendly! We had street corn and deviled eggs to start – the street corn & chips were sooo good, very well seasoned! We enjoyed the deviled eggs, I liked the avocado top most. Also got some empanadas, best empanadas we’ve had in awhile! He loved the chorizo ones while I loved the barbacoa
Not pictured but main meal: Birria tacos & Kenbloom enchiladas (new feature menu). I really enjoyed the Birria tacos & my bf loved the enchiladas- definitely spicy with a nice kick, but super delicious!
Restaurant looks like a lively fun place for evening events for sure.. definitely a place to try! Yum yum

We recently visited and unfortunately left feeling disappointed, mainly because of service and how the bill was handled.
Our server, Diana, did not seem very welcoming from the start. The interaction felt a little abrupt. I understand restaurants get busy, but the overall tone felt tense and rushed. We were celebrating a special day and I was truly embarrassed to have picked this spot after the service.
At one point,our server, Diana without saying a word- began moving my friend’s purse and personal items from a chair at our table.. to remove the chair from our area to bring to a different table.
It caught all of us really off guard. Working in the service industry myself, I would NEVER just touch a guest’s personal belongings without asking, especially something like a purse/wallet.
Shortly after, another staff member, he came over and politely asked if he could move the rest of the items to borrow the other chair, which we appreciated that he took the time to address us and asked before just moving our items. We were not upset about the chair. We just expected basic communication.
Even though he was not our server, Austin also stopped by our table and was very kind and professional. We appreciated his attentiveness very much! He actually came by a few times.
The biggest issue- A 22% gratuity was added to my ticket without being mentioned. When I asked about it, Diana said it was because we were sitting at a six-top and that sometimes it happens. However, there were only 4 of us, and the restaurant has open seating or at least had a SIGN that said SEAT YOURSELVES. The only available tables in that moment were six-tops or two-tops, so we chose the six-top table due to having 4 people.
The “automatic” gratuity was removed immediately once I asked so that I can adjust the bill which let me know this is not policy and nowhere did it say a group of 4 paid automatic 22%
I usually tip 20 percent or more and have no problem doing so. This was about transparency. Discovering the charge only when reviewing the bill and having to ask for corrections was uncomfortable because the server seemed upset and annoyed.
If you dine here, pay CLOSE ATTENTION to your receipt prior to paying. This seemed shady in my book.
One of my friends paid cash and our server seemed annoyed and said the change was in her car… then when my friend received her change, she did not receive the full amount of change back. Not sure if they don’t keep their change available or have a bank to get change at the bar??
The flautas I ordered were NOT good at ALL.. soft on the sides and super oily but not crispy at all and burnt on the top and bottom and still not crispy. I couldn’t even grab one without it falling apart. They’re the worst flautas
The rice tasted like the cheap microwaved spanish rice bags.
This was not authentic Mexican food at all.
Their salsas and chips were okay.
Churros were okay.
Sangrias were watered down.
Service was not good at all.
The place smelled musty. They should move the tables away from the bathroom area. The smell travels..
Our group won’t be returning and I would not recommend.

I had the most refreshing, flavorful cucumber martini!! It was perfect for a weekend cap!! The queso/ birria tacos are scrumptious!! The athmosphere is cozy, picturesque, pretty chill. Super cute decor!!

Excellent restaurant with different seating areas for a coffee and/or dinning experience. Live music was great and not so loud which allowed us to converse. Decent prices.

great dive in bar, very unique decor, you don’t think you are in the USA when you come in and the variety of sangria and other cocktails is amazing. the bar tender can make you any drink. the food, I had tacos Al pastor, they were okay but there’s many more, from barbacoa to chicken and carnitas. Atmosphere was kinda down for a Saturday night, but the live music was great, maybe I was a little bit early for the crowd, because I was there from 830p to 930p. Great place to have a date night because they have some kind of personal booths that are kind of private, you don’t have someone behind over hearing your conversations. they also have a nice patio and the bar holds like 10 people. You should give a try and put it on your restaurant/bar rotation.

This place sits right on the corner of Windhaven and Communications…literally. From the parking lot, it’s tucked in the corner, so someone could easily miss it. The staff was very friendly and the dining area is a funky mix of decor. The kid’s pizza had a lot of meat on it; they certainly didn’t skimp on it. My son enjoyed it. The burrito was stuffed full of meat, potato, cheese, and more. It was a lot of food. There were 4 sauces on the chip flight. All were good, but the salsa verde was quite spicy. The shrimp taco was also delicious but had a bit of a kick. I would definitely order it again. Although small, the sangria was very good. We are glad we tried this place and would come back. If you’re looking for a new place, give it a try.

When we arrived it was a little loud so we chose tables at the back. The chairs were comfortable. There are also areas where u can just lounge. We ordered the empanadas, enchiladas and burritos. They were tasty. The kids quesadilla came with a scoop of ice cream which was very good. Theres a mop/rag smell which I didn’t like. Our server picked up a dog from one of the customers and walked around with it. I just hope she washed her hands when she served our plates. It’s a cool hip place but might not be coming back.

A friend recommended this place and I need to share that recommendation, this place is definitely in our Tex Mex rotation, though honestly it seemed more like a San Diego Mex style which is a really nice change of pace and super tasty food and drinks.

If you haven’t visited…..DO IT!! I found this place when it first opened and every time I can since. We live pretty far away so we don’t get here as often as we want but when we do visit it always 100% great service and great times. We love Austin, T, Marco and Leyth. We’ve always been so welcome. T was amazing tonight and we can’t wait to come back.
