I ve ordered from Sango Sushi Los Alamitos for years. I was shocked that they closed. I recently been driving to the HB location, a little bit of a drive, but the food is worth it. Everything that I’ve tried on the menu is excellent. I like the Sushi A la carte, chicken katsu curry, and gyozas. Sushi is fresh, prepared well and delicious. The restaurant is always consistent with preparation, service and delivery. Keep it up guys

It was good. Some items were prepared differently, like the baked scallops. It had onion and zucchini in it. The mayonnaise top was orange. Everything else we got was very good. Even went back up and ordered togo

I’m only rating the crunchy roll and the California roll to be fair to Sango Sushi. Compared to Fugi Grill (in the Albertsons shopping center off of Beach Blvd), they were not good at all! My husband didn’t care for the chicken and rice bowl as well.
The prices are a little high and I won’t be back.

This is one of the last family-owned, quick and casual restaurants in Huntington Beach. The food is top quality and the prices are very reasonable. You will be delighted.

Wanted to love, but there were bones in my rainbow roll and the beef yakisoba was pretty dry / flavorless 🙁

Absolutely pleasant service, extremely polite and patient, definitely reminded me of being back in Japan. The chicken Katsu was simply perfect, for the price and size. The gyoza, was good too, but could be a bit more crispy for my taste. And the salmon sashimi was really the only let down, seemed pre made and pretty thin slices. Overall I will be going back.

I think people are often suspect of the take-out format used, as opposed to a table service format, but I have been going to Sango for years, off and on, and the food quality and taste has consistently been top notch, and at a very reasonable prices. The Super Bento Box feed me for two different meals, and while everything served was awesome, it gave me the opportunity to try the Sesame Chicken which has become one of my new favorites.

When we walked into Sango Sushi the restaurant was too warm, there was no music playing and it was crowded. We did not eat inside the restaurant, but the crunchy roll was surprisingly delicious. #LocalGuides

The beef yakisoba has made me feel things I haven’t felt in a long time. Found this place during labor day I think when everything was closed except this and ended up eating it with my grandma 4 times that week. I also ordered a beef soup by accident one time and thought I wasn’t gonna like it and it ended up being the best soup I’ve ever had. Very good place.
