Ordered some appetizers and Biriyani. Although the starters were good, the Biriyani was horrible. Capsicum does not belong in Biriyani. Call the dish something else. It was moist and tasteless, both the goat and chicken Biriyani.
I can understand that the chef is trying to put their spin on this dish, but please don’t call it Biriyani. It’s deceiving. In any case, I could not finish the plate.

I really don’t understand why this stave location is so bad compared to the Lougheed location. We have avoided stave location in the past as it is so inconsistent, we end up with a different flavour every time we order. We ordered and picked up today from the stave location as it was close and convenient, and it had been a while so decided to give it another shot. But I will definitely making the extra 5 min drive next time. We ordered medium spice butter chicken and rice, and disappointing under flavoured no spice tomato water is what we received. So thin and watery. I usually add naan but I decided to skip naan this time as I had some at home, and it cost $2 more than the same order at the Lougheed location does with naan. Won’t be back. Waste of my money and disappointing dinner. Definitely go to Lougheed, they haven’t failed me yet, and skip Stave.
