We were on our way home and stopped at this restaurant for a quick dinner. The food tasted good, and the kids enjoyed it as well. The biryani was nice; however, please avoid mixing raw onions into the biryani—serve them on the side instead.

We were greeted warmly at the entrance, but the table service did not match that welcome. serving at the table looks like I don’t care ( immediately recalled the service in typical Irani hotel service).Kids observed the same is concerning for me..Serve with Smile at every table Sangam.

This is a lovely South Indian restaurant in the area. It’s rare to see restaurant that specialize on southern cuisine. We got a variety of dishes, including the masala dosa, podi dosa, chicken kothu parotta, chicken 65, and biriyani. I was especially happy to see kothu parotta on the menu! Everything tasted authentic, especially the sambar. It tasted just like my mom used to make. No major complaints; I just wish there was more masala in the masala dosa!

Almost cried tears of joy after tasting the sambar here. It was so authentically South Indian and felt like home, which I think is hard to find in the US where most sambars are just dal disguised as sambar The service was top notch and the food delicious. I will be visiting again.

My family and friends had previously enjoyed the food here, which is why we decided to cater from this restaurant for the second time for a party. Unfortunately, both experiences were very disappointing.

The first time we ordered biryani, the tray had hardly any chicken in it and was mostly rice. We decided to give them another chance, but last night’s catering order was even worse. The butter chicken we ordered had almost no chicken pieces and was mostly just gravy. We also ordered Veg Chettinad, which looked very unappetizing — the vegetables were cut into large chunks and simply placed in the gravy.

It was honestly very embarrassing to serve this food to our guests. We expected much better quality, especially for a catering order. Sadly, this experience has been extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

This is one of our go-to Indian food spots. We order from here a couple times a month and the food is consistently excellent.

We usually do carryout and everything travels well and tastes great every time. The flavors are rich, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. When we do eat in, it’s a straightforward strip-mall restaurant, nothing fancy, but comfortable and perfectly fine for a casual meal.

If you’re looking for reliable, high-quality Indian food, this place delivers. Highly recommend.

This place is incredible and one of the most authentic South Indian restaurants in the U.S. The food, especially the dosa, is perfect. It’s like you landed in Kerala. They are family friendly (we brought a lot of kids!), the service is hard-working and helpful. Run – don’t walk – to this place. Baltimore is lucky to have it.

Authentic south Indian flavors in/near Baltimore. Hyderabad chicken and vegetable biryani is a must have if you are there. Naan is also good.

This is hands down the best Indian restaurant in Baltimore. I’ve been here several times, including for the Tamil New Year, and each visit has been a treat. The thali was incredible, offering a delicious variety of meat and seafood dishes from South India. The food is comforting, the dishes are versatile, and I highly recommend it!

Not the fanciest place, but some of the best Indian food (particularly south Indian) I’ve had in restaurants. The onion pakora was perfect, as were the curries we got. Not to mention the fantastic dosa we got that I forgot to take a picture of. Just a really really excellent meal.

This restaurant offers outstanding food and great service. The flavors are authentic, the dishes are delicious, and the service staff – Harish and Arya, were attentive and friendly. The head chef, Satish, also welcomed us when we got there. Although the prices might seem a little higher compared to other Indian restaurants in the area, the quantity and quality they provide justifies it. Would recommended Sangam for anyone seeking a worthwhile South Indian dining experience.
