This location that am rating is located inside Philly’s Reading Terminal Market. The Peking duck is absolutely to die for – even better than the famous Peking duck served at Peking Duck restaurant in Falls Church VA where you see thousands of pictures of famous people plastered to the walls. The duck here is fresh, extra crispy, meaty and not fatty, super deliciously seasoned. It is the star of several of their dishes: Peking duck and shrimp wonton noodle soup, Peking duck with vegetables and rice which we ordered. This place is unpretentious, very affordable, comes out hot and delicious!

Rating for peking duck only….it is fresh, crispy, well-seasoned, and not fatty. This place very affordable, although service could be improved. It felt rushed and not customer oriented.

The duck is nice and juicy while the Lo main with vegetables was very flavorful. What missed the make was the char siu (bbq pork) which was on the leaner and drier side, I much prefer the fattier part but they didn’t have any of that. Service was quick, friendly and efficient with a two man crew doing everything from cooking and wiping down the counter to taking orders and chopping the meat.

Friday was my first visit to the Reading Terminal Market. I had a hankering to try the duck so I made the small journey down there. And I was not disappointed. The fried rice was very flavorful and probably the best I’ve had from a takeout spot. I didn’t get to eat my duck until I got home and by then the duck wasn’t crispy. But it may have been when I first received it. The market is very lively so I say take a trip down here when you get the chance. There are endless amounts of cuisines to choose from here.

The food was very good and the servers were very friendly. I saw the food be prepared and the duck was cut in front of me and placed on my plate, so it was very fresh. It had a very different and yummy taste to it. I would definitely go again!

Amazing delicious Peking duck and dumplings! My kids wanted Peking duck and the Sang Kee Peking Duck at the Reading Market did not disappoint! We ordered two Peking duck platters, one with low mein and one with with fried rice. The dumplings were very large and utterly delicious! Definitely recommend if you are OK with counter service or carry out.

Tried this for the first time after walking by probably a hundred times. Got one of the lunch specials and it was okay, not the worst I’ve ever had but not the best either. Next time I’ll have to try the duck, I probably should have ordered that this time but I was in a rush and didn’t think about the menu. Overall service was quick, portion was good size, and staff was friendly. There’s an $8 minimum for CC charges but they take cash and card. The lunch special was $9.25 which was a meal plus spring roll, which I think was a great price for all the food.

This is my GO-TO for Duck. I love their food. I have had most of their Duck with rice & veggies. I also enjoy their soups and egg rolls. The cooks are friendly and always answer my questions or add extra sauce/gravy when I ask- no extra charge. I gave 4 out of 5 stars cause I just wish the meat portions were bigger, lol. I’m greedy 7 cheap, I admit it. Sang Kee Peking Duck is on point!

After traveling for 6 months, this plate of duck & rice was the first culinary reminder of ‘home’, Sydney Australia. Made and served exactly as it should be. I read comments about there not being enough meat on the duck and it being all bone and fat. I disagree. I’ve eaten at the fanciest of restaurants and the quantity of meat on the duck is quite normal. Beautiful meal. Can only fault them on not having plum sauce or fresh chilli, but their homemade chilli sauce is very nice.
