Pretty much what you’d expect, and I think the 4.1 that it has at the time of writing is fair.

Overall the food was sub par. The Pepsi chicken was extremely disappointing. Pork fried rice was okay. The tofu was too soft for our taste but that may just be us. Egg drop soup was fantastic though.

Ordered to take out totaling over $50 including our tip. Took a chance and gave at least the minimal tip since this was our first visit off of a family referral. The order taker was very kind as was all the crew. After ordering they said it would take about 10 min. but it was quicker than that. My order taker even looked through our box of food and verified with the receipt. I was actually impressed so I didn’t verify, which I always do. When we got to our hotel I pulled everything out and NO fried rice for either of us. It was a main part of the Double entree dinner. (Thus the 3 stars). The food was great all around, and dispite the rice issue I’ll come again. I’ll be verifying my order next time, as we all should on any take out our drive through order. We had the Lemon Chicken (just a little dry) and Moo Goo Gai Pan with the Sweet and Sour Soup (oh so good), in one order, and the Sweet and Sour Pork with Beef and Broccoli, Sweet and Sour Soup, and a side order of the California Sushi roll for myself. The sauces (sweet and sour and lemon sauce) were packaged separately and very tasty…nice. like I said the food was overall great and I felt the portions were good as well but forgetting a part of an order is really frustrating and is the one thing every restaurant can avoid.

The food was good with large portions. I recommend the dinner sweet and sour pork. I was able to take home my leftovers and had enough for two more meals. My waitress was excellent. And they had live music!

Well, after all the hype and advertising, thought we would try it out. Just straight up yukky. Service and all. 3 of use ate there, had 3 different dishes and an appetizer. The app was kind of just ok but none of our main meals were good at all. Absolutely no REAL flavor and expensive. Not sure why people go there. I guess everyone has their own idea of good food. This is NOT for us. The plus side…big portions but we couldn’t bring ourselves to take home the left overs. Sorry folks, if ya looking for good Asian food, this is not it.

We had a wonderful dining experience. The presestation of the food was really good. Everything tasted scrumptious! It was topped off with a fabulous waitress called Christine! Awesome personality and great conversationalist!! She just made everything perfect! Clean dining and great atmosphere! Must go here if you are ever in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Top notch place. The food is amazing. So many incredible choices. The staff is incredible and friendly. The experience is next to none. It is my place to go when heading out – especially when it is too hot to cook at home.

Have gotten takeout from Sang Garden many times over many years. The restaurant changed owners a while back. When we went in to pick up our dinner tonight there was a very professional seeming woman working the counter. We have not seen this before, there has generally been someone just getting the food out, and sometimes underworld looking people with weird piercings and hairdos. The artwork around the east and south sides of the building is weak, lacks taste and is somewhat offensive. It would be much better if they hire a competent artist to create authentic Chinese and Thai themes. There are some aspects of the place that ring up slightly demonic. Still, the food is pretty good and fairly consistent. The vibe of the personnel needs refreshment and new orientation. They seem to have the idea that to weird-up the Asian offering makes an American connection. The restaurant is sometimes very slow. They would do a lot better by simply honoring the cultures that are sourcing the menu flavors by adopting class and respect.

Continue to screw up my orders. Tonight they delivered the wrong food, again, and when they came back with the “right” food there was literally zero flavor or spice. I asked for Thai hot. I’m done with these folks. $50 for two? And it’s not even right…

I’ve driven by Sang Garden so many times and wondered about it so I finally tried it. This place is pretty great! The food is fresh and they give you a lot of food, service is great and the menu isn’t over saturated with dishes like some restaurants tend to do. There’s a fun atmosphere with quirky things here and there.
