Burgers, beers, and ball games — weekend perfection!
This place is so fun! TVs everywhere — you literally can’t miss a single play. The crowd’s got great vibes too, everyone’s cheering and laughing!
The food? 10/10. Juicy burger, crispy fries, and calamari that’s light and not greasy at all Even my cat would approve if she could come along
If you’re looking for an easy, good-vibes spot to chill, eat, and watch the game — this is it!

Whether you live in Big Bear, or are just passing through, don’t miss Sandy’s Sports Bar for good food and a good time. They offer a great menu and have a very large game room with everything from Air hockey, to basketball, to skeeball , as well as a big variety of arcade games. They also have two FREE full-size 9 foot pool tables, which are in good shape. We are from out of the area, and happened to stop in tonight. We were very pleasantly surprised, and hope that this establishment continues to thrive. It will definitely be on our list of stops the next time we are in town!

What a wonderful sports bar! Large, beautiful horseshoe shaped bar when you walk in. Very spacious with a lot of arcade games and tournament sized pool tables! Multiple large TVs everywhere for your viewing pleasure.
I started with my favorite skinny margarita and finally I found a bartender in Big Bear who was able to make it perfectly. Anthony, who was our server was exceptional and also made the margarita perfectly!
We ordered the Sandy’s chicken nachos and oh my goodness they were just fabulous! Huge, huge portion with plenty of chicken and all the good stuff! And what was very unique was on the very bottom they had a large flower tortilla spread with the beans so after you eat all the toppings off, you roll it up and eat it like a burrito. The chips were nice and large, hot and crunchy. We were full for the whole day & did not even eat dinner! Lol Will definitely be back here! Highly recommend.

I had an incredible experience at Sandy’s Sports Bar in Big Bear Lake! Initially, I just expected typical bar food, but I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the meals we received. The menu offered a great variety of delicious options, and everything was cooked to perfection. Our server, Ariel, was attentive and friendly, making excellent food suggestions that really enhanced our visit. The lively atmosphere combined with great service and tasty dishes made for a memorable outing. This place will always be a stop for us whenever we visit Big Bear — we can’t wait to come back!

Went to Sandy’s to see if they were showing the Steelers Sunday I thought the game started at 9:30 when they open but it they were in Ireland and started at 6:30am the servers looked the game up for us and said we have someone here at 8:30 just knock on the door and he will let you in. I can’t believe they would do this. They did and we were there on Sunday this place is wonderful, great servers very kind and the atmosphere was so warm felt, we had breakfast and it was great. We will for sure come back can’t believe we did not come sooner
Thanks Jeff for a great time!

We visited Sandy’s multiple times during our stay in Big Bear. Anthony, Kyle, Ryan and Ariel all were fantastic bartenders and made us feel welcome. This was likely the cleanest establishment we have ever been to. Watching whatever sport we wanted to see was never an issue. We were there in the off season, so we didn’t wait for a seat, but suspect during peak season, the place is always packed. Thanks especially to Anthony, Ryan and Kyle who made us feel at home on our return visits. Anthony as he unlocked the door for us waiting to get in and Kyle for the biggest smile when he recognized us. It was fun to feel like regulars so far from home. Go Vikes!

Appears to be the only sports bar in Big Bear. And it is fabulous! On on of the busiest have days off the year, opening season Sunday for NFL, the crowd was not overwhelming. TVs are plentiful, and lots of beer in tap. Food was on point, was better than your typical bar food, the fried goods were crispy and not soggy, much better then was expecting! Would definitely eat here again, and their large glasses, 32oz are very reasonable priced. Definitely more of a local crowd than a tourist crowd, unlike the brewery! Fish and chips were over of the better ones I’ve had, definitely recommended, add sweet potato fries, you will have no regrets!

Staff and environment was really great! The food needed much more seasoning. Most everything tasted really bland. Even the Mac and cheese tasted like nothing.

What a great place to go and watch the football games when I come up to visit. Lots of TVs and tables to sit and have a beer along with a good menu selection. The service was top notch and super friendly and will definitely return.

Glad to see Sandy’s is back and the food blew our minds! We had actually wanted to get Murrays but they were jam packed and not accepting take out orders. We drove around and saw that Sandy’s was open again. The food was incredible. Had the fish & chips, spicy chicken and slaw sandwich and an order of onion rings. Best of each we’ve had in a long time. Next time we’re in big bear we will definitely be back at Sandy’s!
