Friends have been recommending this spot for a while because of how consistent the food is, and we’re glad we finally did. We ordered their new burger. It was juicy, flavourful, and served on a soft potato bun. The portion size for the burger and fries was generous, and the shoestring fries were crisp, honestly better than McDonald’s.
We tried the cheesecake, which we were told is made locally in Riverside.
Everything was delicious and satisfying, the service was outstanding, and the owner even stopped by to check on us, which was a really nice touch. We’ll definitely be back!

Visited Sandy’s tonight for their burger battle burger and it was delicious. High five to the chef. The food took some time but well worth the wait. This was our first time to the restaurant and we will be back. Our wait staff was very friendly and hospitable, the atmosphere was lovely and food was delish.

we came from Amherstburg for the burger battle. I have to say the burger was one of the best I have ever had, actually maybe the best. Great service, ty Ginette and Cam the owner was super. Went on valentines day and the food wasn’t very good. The fries and dessert they served tasted like it was store bought. The main dishes it self felt over priced for very little and was also overcooked. The stir fry it self was ridiculous, the fact you have to pay extra for any protein added to it is just absolutely absurd. Also the service was just lack luster. Will not be going there again.

I went for the steak sandwich but was so disappointed. The steak was full of fat and grizzle so it grossed me out. The mashed potatoes were delicious and the service was fantastic though.
I went back for another chance and met the new owner Cameron who is a nice guy.

Service is excellent. Fresh onion soup was great. The chicken quesadilla was great. The chicken delight was the downfall and disappointment. Iceberg lettuce was so wet and besides not using leaf lettuce as they should, it just ruined the wrap completely. They don’t serve coney dogs as “they can’t get them”. The menu has mistakes and improper grammar, which is confusing for the sides. The add-ons are listed as “gravy 1-” to which I also had to guess it meant “gravy +$1”.
All and all, it’s a great little place, with friendly service and a few quirks that wouldn’t bother most people other than myself.
