Good food, ordered off the menu. I had the fried catfish dinner. They were slightly muddy tasting, wish they were cleaned a little better. Also wish they were cooked just a bit longer. Over all the seasoning was great and had a nice fried coating. My friends had the hamburger steak, it tasted good, might have to get that next time.

Off the beaten path, well worth it. This little place proves beyond a shadow of a doubt, you can cook a burger all the way showing absolutely no pink yet, the burger remain juicy enough to use napkins cuz it dribbles down your chin. This burger had flavor and a bit spicy if you are sensitive to that. I am not and it was delicious. The waitress was friendly and the French fries were hot and fresh.

The chicken, rice and yams were ok, service was fantastic. In Cajun Country, I’d say it’s adequate but it’s not going to blow you away by any stretch of the imagination. The food is quick, but maybe not the best.

Best fried shrimp, I ever ate. They have a dinner plate of 20 fried shrimp, with fries and a salad for $21.00. Two can eat off of it. You can’t beat that price anywhere. Give them a try. I am funny about we’re I eat fried food. I can recommend Sandy’s . Service is quick, friendly staff. In and out fast if you don’t like lingering around. Food is very consistent. You won’t leave hungry.

First time here. I ordered the hamburger with cheese. What I loved about the burger is that it was well done and still juicy, which is how I love them to be. The burger was seasoned well. The bun was lightly toasted. It was a good burger, not the best burger, but good. I would enjoy returning and trying some of their other food next time that I am in the area. I saw some of the plate lunches others had and they looked good!
