I was Just passing through town on my motorcycle and was filling up my gas tank just a few miles away and a local gentleman recommended I eat lunch at Sandy’s! Great customer service! Delicious food! I would definitely go back if I find myself in that area again

Honest review. This place needs more attention, it’s definitely underrated, the food was wayyy better then me and my family expected it would be (no offense) the wait was not long, and the food was hot. We all ordered sandwiches, a grilled cheese, two chicken sandwiches, and two French dip sandwiches. The fries that came with the French dip sandwiches were honestly soo good. And I loved the French dip sandwiches, they were so flavorful if you need a recommendation, I recommend getting one. The other sandwiches were not mine, but my sister said her grilled cheese was one of the best, and so cheesy. The Christmas decorations made me feel at home, but my favorite part is their ice cream!! It’s amazingly cheap, definitely cheaper then most places, and such huge size, we ordered ours in cups so they weren’t a mess and they were delicious. Definitely can’t wait for summertime when it’s hot out and all you need is a 2$ ice cream. The waitress was kind as well. Love and recommend this place, thank you!

Looking for a hometown diner for a quick meal. Well this is it. Friendly staff and cozy home feeling atmosphere. The food can only be described as “comfort food”, at little greasy, awesome thick home style shakes. Sit down and read the local paper or one of there off the shelf books. Take a load off, come in and relax.

We live in North Idaho & my wife has been driving by Sandy’s for 25 years going to see family in Canada several times a year, the past 5 with me. It’s always been busy. Today we weren’t in a rush to get back home so we stopped in. We didn’t expect a Michelin experience.
The staff is friendly & nice & efficient. That’s about where the good ends. Oh, she got a small soft serve ice cream cone & it was pretty big.
The daily special was a DLX cheeseburger which we ordered & split. The buns are basic walmart style plain Janes. The hamburger patty was obviously a basic walmart style plain Jane of the frozen variety. There was nothing noteworthy or special about it. The fries were OK. I got ranch for them & it was nice & thick & tasted good. The ranch was the best part of the meal.
Will we return? No.

What a great place to stop. The food was delicious, excellent flavor, hot and quick to our table. Our server was excellent, making jokes and recommendations and just as important he was having fun. I ordered the double meat and bacon burger with extra onions on an onion bun along with a large fry and i was full. Then our server suggested and ice cream cone and the medium size fed two of us just fine.
This is a must stop when going through kettle falls even if its just for ice cream.

Ran into some local folks on the ferry and they said this place was a must stop for soft serve. I love soft serve and have had it everywhere. This is, without a doubt, hands down, the best soft serve ice cream I have ever had. I wish they weren’t so far from home, I’d be there every day. The folks there were all super cool as well. If you somehow end up this far north in Washington, get here and experience this gift from the ice cream gods.

Visiting from Spokane, we were told this was a place to get great shakes and ice cream and it is. I had a Reese’s Blizzie and my daughter had a Oreo Blizzie. They were awesome! We decided to have breakfast here on Sunday and it was delicious. This is a must stop roadside restaurant!
