The place is like an old school diner. Friendly staff for sure. Food was good but pricey for what you get. I ordered the eggs benedict and got the thinnest piece of ham I have ever ever seen on a benedict and very little hollandaise sauce. Give two slices of ham at least. We’d go back but I would order something else.

Came across this gem by accident when we were heading to buy flowers from the Amish. The menu was different in that it allowed you to pick and choose, mix and match all items. This allowed each of us to select our favorite items. The server was incredibly accommodating and each time we asked a question his response was “we sure can.”What a great attitude!! Breakfast was cooked perfectly and as we requested. When next in the area, we will definitely return. Excellent value too.

Hot coffee immediately to the table. Hash browns perfectly crispy. Biscuits and gravy best we’ve ever had. Omelette perfectly balanced with ingredients. Only two people working and the service excellent.

Myself, husband, 3 yr old son and 7 yr old daughter, all had breakfast at Sandy’s this morning. It was our 1st time. We live in Chicago but come to Green Lake often and yet never tried Sandy’s. Everything was SO GOOD. I had the country fried steak (I’m usually an avocado toast girl), and let me tell you it was amazing! I’ll be back for breakfast tomorrow. We all loved our food so much that we are even going back tonight for the fish fry.

The food was good and the staff was friendly. When you haven’t been in town and don’t walk in and know someone…. that can go either way in a small town diner. Here I was made to feel like a regular before my first cup of coffee was poured. This is now my primary place to catch breakfast or lunch when I am in the area. Keep serving it up ladies!
