I made a quick stop here for lunch, not realizing it was less than 30 minutes before closing. They were more than willing to serve me, even though I was skating in at the last second and other guests were just leaving. I had cheeseburger pasta soup (which wasn’t what I was expecting but was delicious nonetheless) and a buffalo tender salad. Everything tasted great and the portions were hearty. I would be glad to try more of their menu when in the area again. Great, friendly staff and service.

So it takes 5 or 10 minutes longer. Play the lotto or have a drink at the pretty full bar. Come as u are because that’s what this place is. Good people good food.

Simple, good, honest foods — hamburgers, wings, sandwiches, fries, fish on Fridays, etc. — made not unlike you would at home. While this place is nothing fancy (it shares space with a bar and a bowling alley), everything we had was freshly made and very good. They aren’t trying to be a bistro, just working hard to be very good at the simple menu they serve.
We ate there several times while on a visit to Syracuse. On Friday night, we had haddock dinners, enjoyed to the sounds of bowling pins falling and Stranglehold on the jukebox. It was great.

We had a doctor appt. in SYR late morning. After searching for a place to grab lunch, we chose Sally and Sons on their great reviews!!! I had a loaded egg salad sandwich and tomato soup. It was amazing! My husband had wings and salad. He said they were the best he’s ever had!!! We will return!! Waitress was so welcoming and sweet!! Great atmosphere. I give it a 10 out of 5!

Its a local bar / restaurant, so my rating is based on the type of place it is. The food was awesome and tasted homecooked. Service was friendly and caring. It appeared that most of the patrons were local folks that were regulars. That’s says a lot to me. I asked if Sandy was there, and she was. She was in the kitchen doing the cooking. The cost included a wine and 2 choc milks. I will go back.

The food is Great. The bar tender is more than AWESOME she gets 10 stars. Great food and a dun relaxing time. Very awesome wings and you get a dozen for less than most places charge for 10.
