We ordered sandwiches over the phone and picked them up. It’s a tiny place with no seating inside, so prepare to take your orders to go. Since we were picking up lunch to take to the airport, we were not able to try the sandwiches until much later. They still tasted good, but the time delay didn’t give us the freshest experience.
We ordered 3 Jeff Specials (Turkey, Bacon, and Cheddar) and a Reuben Sandwich. We asked for Rye bread on the Reuben, but it came with a different kind of bread. Must have been a miscommunication over the phone. The employees were nice when we came for pick-up. Lots of chips and drinks available to choose from inside.

This family-owned sandwich shop has been a neighborhood staple for over thirty years. The owner and staff are consistently kind, helpful, and efficient. While the menu is simple, it features a standout turkey salad sandwich, in addition to other classics like pastrami, roast beef, vegetarian, and egg salad sandwiches. Although parking can be a challenge, the food is well worth the trip.

Found this place on Google and got their specials ! We enjoyed it . The Dutch crunch bread was soft and all the ingredients seem fresh! You can choose which kind of turkey meat you want , dark or white . Will go there again! 2 sandwiches 2 chips , 2 drinks around $32 .

Quite possibly the best sandwich place in Alameda. The turkey is roasted in house, not processed! Get the Jeff’s special!

Webster street sure has changed since Alameda was a Navy town! Places like the Sandwich Board have replaced Navy bars, girly joints and tattoo shops that fronted for other things that go bump-bump!
So, I whipped into the Sandwich Board to see if anything looked the same…it doesn’t, but I’ll tell you what..The Sandwich Board kicks out a screaming good sandwich! ☆☆☆☆☆

This place is a true sandwich paradise! The staff was incredibly kind and efficient, making sure my order was exactly as I wanted. I went for their grilled chicken pesto sandwich, and it was beyond delicious! The chicken was juicy, the pesto fresh and flavorful, and the bread had that perfect crispiness. Every bite was a delight. The ambiance was modern and clean, with a laid-back atmosphere that made me want to stay longer. Whether you’re here for a quick lunch or a casual dinner, the experience is top-tier. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a well-made sandwich!

Favorite sandwich in Alameda. Sandwich Board is family owned with fresh roasted Turkey made daily. My favorite sandwiches on the menu are the Roast Turkey Delight and the Susan’s Special (Turkey, Bacon, Cranberry, Jack). Mine is cool and the lines get long but he and his team move people through quickly. There’s a few tables outside and parking options include street parking and the lot lot around the corner.

I got a smoked turkey sandwich on Dutch crunch and *typically* they can’t toast the Dutch crunch bread but they said they would try for me and it came out soooo good. This was perfect for a post-gym meal.

I’m in love with their mix meat turkey sandwiches like the turkey club or Susan’s special in their Dutch crunch ! The turkey is always so moist and tender and bread is chef’s kiss. I have it at least twice a week!!
Mike and the ladies here are also so sweet and efficient
