This place is awesome. Local Family owned and operated. Amazing salad with the biggest blackberries we’ve ever seen. The smoked brisket was juicy, tender, and flavorful. Smoked chicken was very good. They even have a small section in the restuarant with essentials needed for a quick run to the store, like a convenience store. Small town pride is shown here. We went for the first time on a Friday, it was so good that we went back the very next day for supper. Get ready, they are adding an outside area also that will have corn hole section and even movie night sponsored by the city library. Come and visit, you’ll love it.

Great locally owned and operated family restaurant. Clean, open shopping and dining area with natural light and historic architecture. Framed photos of Toronto from years’ past with captions if you enjoy stepping back in time.
Order at the counter after taking a look at the menu – they have a pretty substantial menu with plenty of sandwiches, salads, and BBQ options. They’ve also got a good drink selection in the cooler, as well as an ice cream treats cooler.
Great place to spend time and fill your belly on Toronto Main Street.

Had the most wonderful breakfast. Homemade french toast is a must. This light homemade bread with a touch of cinnamon, and perfect egg combination melts in your mouth. Had the bacon and eggs that were fried to perfection. Presentation was amazing.
He was just bringing out homemade quiche from the oven he let me grab a quick picture.
This little stop is perfect for a quick drive for all your hunger needs and amazing atmosphere.

One of the worst restaurants I’ve been too on the Trans American Tour Route 76. I walk in at 3:45 pm and three employees sleeping all around the dining area. Laying across the serving tables and booths. Kicking their feet up on chairs. Sort of an obstacle to get through. Slowly getting up. A little shocking to see. I ordered the pull pork sandwich and received pull pork on a pan and two small half slices of bread on the side. Smh. Side salad was the highlight. Side of green beans was eh. Poor service and presentation. Left a tip in hopes they do better.

The food is delicious. Building is well maintained and offers two tv’s for sports viewing.
Our order was BBQ ribs and burgers. The fried okra was A+!
There is also a convenience area that if you are at the lake in need of the odd thing you forgot to pack, they have it. Plus, a cooler full of canned drinks.
This is the kind of place you hope nobody finds out about so you can keep it all to yourself, but they deserve the review.

Passed through at lunch after just eating down the street. The proprietors were so friend and gave us burnt end samples they had smoked we went back for dinner for their smoked barbecue place, tender brisket, great spicy, baked beans, pickled red onion, and spicy sweet pickles. They also have a nice selection of iced canned beers to complete your meal. Good value.
