Amazing food and great service. I highly recommend the shrimp burger. It’s a beautiful island and a perfect spot to grab some amazing local food. If anything it’s definitely worth going out of your way to try this great established restaurant. You won’t leave disappointed and you’ll be back!

Sands is now our Wednesday place (20% discount on wine). We’ve had salads, burgers, sandwiches & everything is so good. The frites are to die for. We made reservations for 8 and Jim set us up in the back room. To a person everyone loved their meal.

The food was absolutely amazing! Down to the home made ketchup! As if that isn’t enough reason to go there, the owner and server were positively delightful. I went with my family and my mom had made a comment about how much she loved the color they painted the inside of the diner, and he went above and beyond, going to the back to search for the exact paint color so that she could try to find it for her own home. I will definitely be visiting here again.

Went here for the first time tonight. I am in town visiting my sister and she had never heard of the place so we gave it a try. Not at all disappointed! I have the Beet and Bleu Salad and she had the Meatball Sandwich. Everything was delicious! Very welcoming and great atmosphere. It is a must try place!

Brand new place and doing a fantastic job! Ice cold beer…I could probably stop there but I won’t. We tried appetizers today and very impressed. The wings were very good size, perfectly fried, and very juicy. I opted for the Greek style meatballs and found their tzatziki sauce to be amazing! Great ambiance, roomy, and the owner Jim is doing everything right.

Sands on Miami is relatively new to Venice, FL. My wife and I were happy to have stopped in for dinner. Delicious (salmon and a burger) and a great vibe. We just became regulars.

My son and I stopped in for a quick bite on a Wednesday night and immediately were greated by the proprietor and advised we were in luck, “Happy Hour” was ending in 15 minutes. We’re not big drinkers but both had draft beers which were super cold. The place is very comfortable with high ceilings, a few big screens, and some creative art pieces sparingly on the walls. The bar was filled and about half the tables were occupied. The tables are separated by a partial wall.
