Great food! The carnitas was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Sandra was very kind. Bring cash if you can, the service out here isnt great but she does have a card reader that might work. She did not have change available first thing in the morning, fortunately we had some singles. Look for the food truck parked up near the rental cabins. There’s some outdoor seating available (some under covered areas). Great stop on your way in or out of Great Basin NP.

Definitely glad I stopped here – excellent place to sit back, relax and enjoy delicious homemade Mexican food after a long day at Great Basin NP. Very friendly and hospitable couple make you feel at home.
Great selection of classic Mexican dishes and beverages, and cards are accepted! The street tacos were amazing and flavorful and you can tell tender loving care was put into making them.

This place is a true hidden gem tucked away in the small town of Baker! We stopped by after a long day of exploring Great Basin National Park and were absolutely delighted. The atmosphere is incredibly homey and welcoming; it feels more like grabbing a meal at an old friend’s house than a typical restaurant.
The staff is wonderful, providing top-notch service that is both fast and genuinely friendly. As for the food, the portions are very generous, everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can tell it’s authentic, home-style Mexican cuisine. The location is perfect for travelers navigating these remote roads. If you’re looking for a spot with great value for money and a pleasant vibe, this is definitely the best choice in the area!

A quick walk from our stay at the Star Gazer Inn. We got a beef burrito and quesabirria, both of which were delicious, including the rice and salsa! You could tell everything was fresh. My husband also got the horchata which was some of the best he’d ever had. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Fantastic food made fresh to order. The menu includes traditional favorites — burrito, queso birria, gorditas, etc. There’s a covered picnic area in this tiny scenic town outside Great Basin National Park. There’s a gas station across the road. Sandra enjoys reading so we gave her a book in Spanish by our favorite author.

Tamales, Pork Adobada Torta, Veggie Tacos, and a Cheesy Bean Burrito… and FRESHLY MADE HORCHATA!! Everything was delicious!! We took pics of our food, but the kiddos went crazy, and devoured everything! I would totally recommend visiting this place!

What a beautiful lil place to get some authentic Mexican food that’s reasonably priced for the area AND after hiking all day at GBNP. I loved everything about it. I sat on the deck and took in all the sights as I ate my food. Check it out if you’re in Baker!
