Ordered a baby shower cake from here last week. Was super hopeful that this cake would be beautiful because service was exceptional when we ordered! The young lady at the register was so nice, paid close attention to detail, and even checked in the back that they could do what we wanted before we placed our order. We brought in inspo pics and written detailed instructions for them to keep along the lines of – rectangle sheet cake with no border, blue hearts and blue writing in cursive lowercase in one line like photos. They asked when we needed to pick up the cake and we told them today around 9 or 9:30 am because we were planning to set up the baby shower around that time.
My mom went to pick up the cake today later than expected around 3pm as our plans had changed for set up, and though we have no photo to show, when they showed her the cake it had nothing that we asked and in big letters in two lines across the cake said the text “Baby Cifuentes”, no hearts, not a rectangle, edges were rounded. My mom told them that this is not what she ordered, they brought our inspo pics and notes out and again my mom explained yes just like these photos, they brought it out looking like this…. and then Sandra said, “so did you really need this cake at 9:30?” Just was kind of nasty to my mom which is unfortunate. Inspo pics vs what we got are attached.
Very bummed at how my mom was treated. Also, the final cake we got was clearly very rushed, most hearts looked like two blobs, they were not spaced out well and looked very messy and the text was not centered. The box smashed the hearts on the side and the cake was not a sharp rectangle as expected so it doesn’t have the clean look I was going for. Would not recommend this place for a detailed request though that may be partially my fault for not going to someone who specializes in these kinds of orders. This cake was expensive for it to not be what we asked for. Also, the cake was supposed to be precut under the frosting and it wasn’t which made serving unexpectedly difficult. The cake did taste good though

Sandra Kay’s baked a delicious wedding cake for my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding. The cake was a surprise for the bridal couple and was ordered just a few weeks before the wedding without even sampling the cake options. It turned out both very tasty and beautiful! I am so grateful to Sandra Kay for baking such a wonderful cake for the wedding. I cannot recommend them highly enough. It truly was delicious. I can’t wait to try the food at the cafe when I get back to the area again. I can’t rate the atmosphere, but I can’t say enough positive things about the food and service.

We had our daughter’s wedding cakes made by Sandra. A raspberry sheet cheese cake for 80 and a single tier bride and groom cake with butter cream!!! Both were delicious and beautiful!! Made exactly as we requested. The staff is so nice and helpful too!! We also enjoy dining in and the sweet treats and lunch and homemade breads are always delicious!!

I bought a custom made Cake, kudos to the effort put in the shape of the Cake i requested. Coming to the taste I wish I was advised by the baker about the food colour because it left all of is with stains. This would have helped me to modify the colour of the Cake while plaving the order.. But the cake part insode tasted very good and all my guests loved it.

Cute ambiance, but was left underwhelmed by the baked goods. The cherry buttercream pie was good with just the right amount of tart, but the coconut cake was heavy and overly sweet; the peanut butter bar wasn’t better than what you can make from a store bought peanut butter bar mix. Turnover was delightfully flaky, but all in all, probably won’t go back. Much prefer the lighter cake texture from The Flour Shop down the road.

This was my very first time stopping in, but I have had their pastries since they first opened through family having them at their house. Absolutely love everything I have had but my all time favorite is the Blueberry Kringle and Apple pie coffee cake. My daughter also got the single serve cherry cheesecake and ate every bite in one go. I cannot recommend Sandra Kay’s enough
