The decor is very sparse almost like a cafeteria. The shrimp is frozen shrimp from a bag, and their main fish item is catfish which they’re probably isn’t many fresh catfish in the coastal area of North Carolina. I did enjoy my meal and I had coleslaw and potato salad with it. I would return again.

They had an off day today. Normally the food is extremely good, but this time almost everything was bad. The mac n cheese was swimming in cheese sauce. I had to eat it with a spoon because it was so runny and it was very bland. The tea was very watered down. It was like drinking colored water. I just take this was a bad day and will give them a moment to get it together.

Food was fresh, hot and delicious! It was a bit of a wait in the drive thru line, but it was worth it. I gave 1 star for atmosphere, because there is none. They’re still ONLY offering drive-thru ordering and pick-up from online ordering.

This is our first time to eat here. The food was hot and delicious. My favorites are the homemade mashed potatoes and gravy and, fried chicken, cabbage (I loved the fact it is shredded), okra & tomatoes, beef liver & onions in gravy, yeast rolls, fried trout and the homemade apple crisp with ice cream.

Sandpiper is officially closed for dine in, but it has its dri e thru open and in full operation. You should call in your order for faster service, but ordering from the drive thru isnt that bad. I had a wait time of 10 minutes, but my order was for 4 people. The food is still Sandpiper delicious and I recommend you give e them a try if you love seafood, and southern cuisine.
