Sandlot Cafe and Catering is by far, one of the best caterers, we have ever had at our central VA wedding and event venue. Jerry Manning is the owner and his goal is to make your experience perfect and he will go above and beyond expectations for every event. There is no event to large or too small that he can’t do and you walk away, just saying WOW. Our couples rave about his professionalism, presentation, quality of food, his impeccable level of service and the list goes on! Sandlot recently catered our first Garden Party for ladies and they are still buzzing about it. If there were a six star rating, he would Sandlot would receive it!

Jerry the owner and Mike the chef are the best duo you could ask for!! They not only helped us narrow down our wedding menu but perfected it. They also gave us a special experience and accommodated tastings so our moms could be apart of the special day. We are still getting comments about how good the food was and how the Florentine chicken was the best chicken dish anyone has ever had. We are actively thinking of ways we can throw a party just to have their food again.

We had Jerry and his team as our wedding caterers, and I could not say more positive things about our experience. Jerry went out of his way time and time again to make sure we had all the food we wanted, served the way we wanted, and his team was so committed to making our night special. They even made sure we got to eat the cocktail hour food! And the food was AMAZING, I’ve had dreams about the autumn dip and the beef tenderloin. Everything was perfect and he really worked with us to keep it within a reasonable budget without sacrificing any taste. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone and if I had to do it all over again I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you Jerry and Sandlot catering!

I wanted to have a small get together with friends in the afternoon and was given Sandlot Catering as a recommendation. I contacted the owner and requested a simple BBQ plan with the fixings. Drop off and I could set up. This is the way to go!! I mentioned I would supply plates and utensils. Jerry requested a two day notice with the headcount. His staff delivered the food 45 minutes before the start of the party. We did a buffet style service and being the host, we were not stressing about preparing, cooking, and then hoping everything would taste great. We had raved reviews and this will now be our catering company of choice!!
