Visited the Sandia Sports Bar this past week. It was my first time up here. Hostess was friendly and seated us promptly. Our waiter was great, super friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. My husband ordered the fish and chips and I ordered mac and cheese with smoked pork. Both were great. My husband and I shared both dishes. My goodness, it was so much food, we could not finish it all. Desert will have to wait till next time. It’s a lively atmosphere and there is not a bad seat. There are so many TVs you won’t miss any action. A small sports book is located near the entrance.

Been looking forward to March madness to come and enjoy the sports bar. Disappointed in the service at first. 3 tables seated & greeted after us before we ever received a greeting or drink order. Servers in each side of us said they would get our server, from the other side of the bar.

Love the views. The Sandia mountains are awesome. Food was ok for the price. Service was terrible. The server sat us and got water. Took another 30 min to get a drink. They were 5 tables maybe in the place where we were sitting. Not very busy. Server seemed annoyed she came back like 4 times during our visit. Gave me a drink at the end of the first quarter of the game. Didn’t see her till 9 min to go in the 3rd quarter cause we ask manager for our check. Then she took forever to get me my check. That is like 90 min and snother 10 to give me my card back. I will not be going back.

Just went to Sandia casinos sport bar up on the 3rd floor. I have to say the place is beautiful and we had an excellent lunch with friends. All the dishes were under $16ea and super delicious. Burgers were smashed style, cooked perfect and that flame grilled flavor.
The casino floor was decorated beautifully and great view of the Sandia mountains. So kudos to them.

Very poorly ran. Never ever enough staff, always issues with just getting seated. Takes forever to get drinks and food. The food is never good and always cold. Warm if your Lucy.
Our waitress was not the best. But once we asked for the check, brought it back asap and just walked by and dropped the check and a pen on the table and walk by.
For such a large entity you would think it would be ran much much better. Pride them selves more in the quality thy portray.

The host with blonde hair & glasses was amazing. She was kind and at first she sat us in a spot where i couldn’t really see the game ( i had my sport shirt on) and she came back around and found us an amazing spot without us asking. our server was also very kind and we didnt feel rushed at all. A good first time experience! (the nachos are huge)

Went there because the atmosphere is amazing. Service was the worst. Waited about 40 minutes to get our drinks. Another 30 minutes to get our ICE COLD appetizers. Its a shame because the bar is beautiful. Food was horrible. Service was horrible. We were going to get another round of drinks and some burgers but decided to leave instead. Such a beautiful bar should do better. I would go every weekend during baseball season but sadly, I will not return. This is the second time I gave this place a chance. They will not get a third. Avoid at all costs…

I’m one and done with Sandia Sportsbook. Was told seating wait was 30 minutes, When finally seated it was in a sea of empty seats. Lots of TVs on lots of channels, you may feel your watching from the kitchen with a side view but don’t have to worry about hearing the game you are watching. Some other game will be playing so loud it can be heard at the next casino down the road. Ordered Frito pie, ate with only a fork but didn’t have to wish for a spoon for any excess chili in the bag, Flavor except for jalapenos was non-existent. Ordered a mocktail from the menu and was told they don’t serve mocktails anymore. I tried to like the atmosphere but between poor view, noise, poor food and doubling my time there waiting for a check I couldn’t rate this place higher, Hard to get into, hard to leave.

This is a bad review. They advertised the UNM basketball game will be on with the NM United game. Great combo. But nope. We were told to go downstairs to watch the Lobo game. Their was priority was not UNM yet the Florida Gator vs Ole Miss football was on. Hmm. The 505Burger was good though but fries were like Burger King’s, not special.

This lady was our server tonight. I’ve been around the US. & believe me this is the WORST SERVICE we’ve ever had. We came as a family to watch the world series and enjoy a night together. We spent the first hour waiting for drinks. The next hour waiting for food. And the last hour waiting for the ticket. She literally wasted 2 hours of our time when the restaurant was NOT BUSY. Absolutely no Reason it should have taken SO LONG. Today is October 28, and we got here at 5:30 pm. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVER OR THIS BAR. Santa Ana or Isleta is WAY BETTER.
