Great steak done just to your liking. I have been to bigger known restaurants and this place hands down cooks better steak. Quality of the food is outstanding. The salad bar is another great option . FYI the ranch dressing is not watered down like most places. OTR OO truck driver and was able to park with no problem .

Ordered prime rib French dip. They forgot the au jus. I had to holler back into the kitchen several times to get the waitresses’ attention. She was talking on her phone. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak. It was kind of tough.

The salad bar was nice and fresh. It qas a 4.50 substitute on my blt, which I didn’t realize when I ordered but it was very good and the better part of my meal. My blt was good but dry. The swiss mushroom burger, just note that if you say yes to lettuce tomato onion that each is an upcharge. My husband doesn’t eat the lettuce so he would have left that off and not said yes if he had realized.
The service was fast and friendly. The food was also fast. The restaurant was clean and tvs easy to view. Overall, would recommend, would go back.

I was driving all day taking in the sights of the beltway, when I finally stopped for the night I was starving. Honestly I’ve driven allot of “off the beaten path” roads and it’s rare to find good food. This place was the exception. My food was delicious, my beer was the perfect compliment, and the bartender was so friendly. She seemed to be serving the tables and the bar and still took time to check on me. I’d definitely come back if passing through. Thanks for a great meal!

Had an excellent country fried steak, and my partner said the salad bar was one of the best they’d seen in how clean and fresh everything one. Certainly a gem for Thedford and made our overnight visit enjoyable. Getting a menu from a waitress at first was slow, otherwise very pleasant and kind. Note for others: they will close the grill early on nights when it’s not busy in case you stop by late.

Swiss mushroom burger is fantastic. I haven’t stopped in years, back when dining room had booths. I am glad I stopped, many improvements. Went back a second time to have dinner and beers with husband. A bit busier on Saturday night.

Appears to be the nicest place to eat between Alliance and Broken Bow. Clean, bright, newer. Tables are separated appropriately for virus safety. Fairly large seating area. Service was friendly, but not overly fast. Food seems to be featuring good local beef. Very reasonably priced, plus the Sand Hills are just across Hwy 2. We’d come back.
