Ate breakfast here everyday during our stay at the resort and they had wonderful options. Some days I stuck with the continental breakfast which was cereal, fruit, pastries and bagels/toast. One day I did the hot continental breakfast which included an omelet and waffle station, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, grits, hash and scrambled eggs. Everything was clean and organized and the staff were lovely.

Sandcastle at night serves sushi! I loved the Spider roll. My parents shared the seafood platter. My husband enjoyed the Cuban sandwich.

We have had a great time here at Hilton but we made a mistake eating at sandcastles. Our bill was 187.00 and it was bad. We bought three sushi rolls and they were really bad, sour like lime juice in the rice or something. We had one Philadelphia, pink lady, and I don’t remember the third. My wife got the platter and it was really terrible, tons of flour batter on fish. Our waitress was okay but it was soooooo disappointing.

One server working every table, took us over two hours to eat and get out of here, which was disappointing at a resort. Definitely a waste of time for our last night here.

Floridian 75 drink was good and the nachos were good AFTER I asked for a side of nacho cheese because there wasn’t any cheese on them. The fries were good too. That brought the rating to two stars. The fried shrimp, grouper and hush puppies were burned and it was obvious the oil they are using is old. We got a tiny piece of corn on the cob and it did not taste good. Really disappointing because we were looking forward to the shrimp and chips. We will definitely not return. Our waitress was very nice.

Conveniently located inside Hilton Sandestin Beach Gold Resort & Spa. Menu is limited. I suppose deigned to just complement the bar.

Unlike the outside “grill” at the Hilton, Sandcastles deserves 5 stars. The food quality for the breakfast buffet was surprisingly high, considering how many people seem to be there at all times. There was always plenty of fresh fruit and other foods, along with an area where you can order an omelet or waffle as part of the buffet. For a table of drinks and as much food as we could eat for brunch (4 people), it was about $60. Our server was fantastic and we tipped her $20 bringing our total to $80. I haven’t dined here at any other times aside from the morning, but if you’re looking for a good place to start your day at the Hilton, Sandcastles is a great choice.

We stayed at the Hilton during a basketball that they sponsored and we ate the breakfast buffet two of the five days and the food was excellent but one day they were out of Coke so we settled for Dr. Pepper. $20 per person can get costly especially with a full team

I gave the Hilton a chance to make this right before posting a public review, but I received no response from them. So, I’d like to warn you so you don’t waste your money. First, we ate breakfast at Sandcastles thinking that it was included with the room only to get a $60 bill at the end of breakfast. Not a big deal, just an oversight on my part. But we eat light at breakfast and we are vegetarian, so most of the buffet was not appealing. It was a waste of money. That evening we opted for the convenient dinner (seated in the “sushi” area because Sandcastles area was closed). We stood for a few minutes and finally had to ask a staff member if we need to just seat ourselves, which we did. After 15 minutes at the table we went to FIND OUR OWN MENUS. Another 10 or so minutes passed before we caught the attention of another staff person to ask for a server. We finally got drinks about 30+ minutes after sitting down. The four dishes came out one by one with almost enough time for each person to finish their meal before the next person received theirs. My entire family was finished eating when my sushi arrived with NO SOY SAUCE. The server mentioned brining some, but first she cleared a table, chatted with a staff member, and entered something in the computer. The whole time I am sitting there hungry waiting to enjoy my food…which turned out to be sub-par. I think people only eat at the on-site restaurants for the convenience because the service was terrible, they were disorganized and the food was mediocre at best.

Went to this restaurant for breakfast because it was close to the resort we were staying at and in walking distance. If you are staying at the Hilton or nearby on the Sandestin resort, it’s in a convenient location. But, I would rather drive or Uber to any other restaurant on the resort. The drink service was slow, and we didn’t get our drinks until we were almost done with breakfast. On top of that the drinks weren’t very good. The food was alright, just the same as any breakfast buffet! It wasn’t terrible, but don’t expect a whole lot!
