The Sandbox at Derby and The Pulley Event Center is the area’s newest, hottest 2 story restaurant that features sand volleyball and pickleball courts, cornhole area, conference rooms and a 7,500 sq foot event center. We have multiple courts, yard games and a snack shack all under a seasonal dome that will be inflated during the winter months and taken down during the warmer months to allow for year around play. The two story restaurant has a full made from scratch kitchen on the first floor and a full bar with over 20 beers on tap, located on both levels. There will be patio seating and a 5,000 sq foot upper deck during the warmer months. We are the perfect destination for a big team building event or a nice, dinner for two.

I ordered chicken fried steak. The waitress didn’t ask what side I wanted, so was given broccoli, which I don’t like. My husband ordered chicken parmesan, but it was served without marinara sauce. When I said something to the server, she didn’t offer anything to fix it (maybe some marinara sauce on the side?), just said it was a kitchen error.
The rest of my food was okay, but not great. When I asked for our ticket, she brought the handheld device over, told me the total, and waited for me to dig out a card. She put machine in front of me while I was trying to decide her tip. When she brought the receipt, I realized why the total was more than expected. The prices listed on Google Maps haven’t been updated. Chicken fried steak was listed as $12, but I was charged $16.
Very bad acoustics, even though there weren’t many customers.
Don’t plan on going back.

I went for lunch and got the 10 special and had a cheeseburger and added bacon. It came with fries and a drink. Burger was good but the fries were very sad I had under 10 regular sized fries and the rest were all 1 inch nubs.hiding underneath. the sweet tea was good too.

This visit was significantly better except for having my sever only visited my table the bare minimum to get my drink order, food order, to get my desert order, to give me the bill. A nice older middle age gentleman came to me to deliver my food and dessert and I was happy he atleast asked how My food was in between then as well. I got the center cut steak sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Dessert was their current special which was a banana pie. The food this time was great so I will definitely be back but hope the server will check on how I’m doing for drinks or how everything is even if I’m only a one person table.

Visited for the first time today. Loved the open and spacious atmosphere of the dining area. The entire establishment looked well kept and clean. Our server was polite and prompt. I got the Hot Nashville Chicken Sandwich and my husband got the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich. We agreed both were delicious and we will definitely return to try other menu options.

Appetizer was delicious, main entrees were ok. Each of us had stuff we didnt like though or just tasted funny.
Wait staff though was non existent. Was brought appetizer with no forks or plates or even napkins. Waitress even said she would bring us back some utensils and waited 10 minutes and still nothing.
Was super loud and waitress couldn’t speak over the speakers and was very hard to understand. Do not feel like this was a great experience for us.

We rented the Wood Room for a baby shower! The room was very spacious and large enough to accommodate a lot of people. The facility and restrooms were very clean and so nice! The Manager and our 2 servers went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to set up for our event. I would highly recommend the facility for any event you might be having. Check it out!!

Service was great! The food was okay. Turkey club was good, aioli too spicy, glad I got it on side. The cheese sticks were good, though slightly overcooked, but cheese was still gooey. My mom ordered the chicken fried chicken…it was hard to cut and dry as a bone, she had to send it back. The southwest egg rolls had good flavor, but way too spicy!Fried pickles were good, as were the quesadillas. The chicken tenders were good, but some of our family said they were salty. They seemed inconsistent.

A large group of us met here, first time for most of us. I heard zero complaints about food, service from our group. Our waitress was amazing, and took great care of us. I ordered the fried fish tacos with roasted corn, they were amazing. Ingredients were fresh and crispy. My brother ordered the Tomahawk Pork Chops, he said they were superb. We will definitely return.

Not vegetarian friendly, and no hope for the poor vegans, these folks are heavy on the meats. That said, the place is super cool, clean, fun, a bar, outside they have pickle ball, volleyball and corn hole. The rest of my party ( the carnivores) liked the food just fine.
