Got the fish sandwich and fries. Fish mediocre, threw the bun away (gross). Good amount of food for price. Not very pleasant people. Not one person smiled. Then, sat outside (at their tables) while food being cooked. He come to door and yelled that our food was done for us to walk inside get doggy bags to carry out ourselves. Lol we were the only ones there with no other orders. Wasn’t impressed at all.

We were planning on eat at the food trucks at Long Wharf but due to heavy rain they all closed early. Then I found this place on map.
They were busy with both walk in and call in orders. There is no place to sit so we had to order to go and bring to hotel.
The portions are good, food would be crispier if we could eat right there.
We had two combo boxes with fish & claim stripes, shrimps & calamaris. They all tasted very fresh, lightly battered and fried to golden crispy.
Kids had hamburger and hot dog kids meals.

I visited The Sandbar about three months ago, and I still can’t stop thinking about the food—and the prices! Both were absolutely amazing. I ordered the flounder and scallop combo, and honestly, it was the best I’ve ever had. You can immediately tell the oil is kept fresh just by the clean, delicious taste of the food. Everything was incredibly fresh, and to top it all off, the gentleman at the counter was as sweet as can be. If I lived closer, I’d be a regular every single week!

From the outside doesn’t look much and was empty seating is very limited as well and for the warmer months they do have pick nick benches outside.
Food fresh and tasty and for $23.50 including a soft drink and 14 large sea scallops coleslaw tartare sauce a great price I think.
It’s nothing fancy inside the food sells itself fresh and tasty staff polite and professional.
They do have parking as well.

I haven’t been to this place in 15 years, and now I see why & won’t be going back again.
I stopped in yesterday 8/24/25 for 2 subs w/ fries platter. Total $30.06…
The portion was so small I literally counted 13 fries in mines, 15 fries in my son’s chicken cutlet platter. The steak & cheese was mainly lettuce, I mean so little meat it was hard roll size, definitely not sub size. The main reason for the review is that when I picked up my sub the bread was so hard as if it was old, when I looked at the back part of the bread had literally been peeled off as if it got stuck to something or as if it had mold on it, removed it & tried to make it work since it’s the backside I wouldn’t notice….
I don’t live close to this place & definitely won’t be going back.
It has definitely gone down from the looks of the outside absolutely no curb appeal, dirty looking, doesn’t make you want to sit outside & eat at all….
My 2 ⭐⭐ is generous.

Food was really good, cooked to order and they accommodated me being gluten free (not a lot of options but still some delicious ones). We got to sit outside and enjoy.

Got lunch today. This is my first time eating there. Co-worker picked up meals. There was some type of of cleaning sponge or something in my meal. Fries slight soggy but its a pick and fish bland. Small amount of food for the price.

This is my first time going here. I was promptly greeted. I ordered the SandBar combo. I ordered mine at lunch time it only took about 10 minutes. The staff there was quite pleasant and very friendly. The food was fresh and excellent quality they would definitely be seeing me again.
