Stumbled in here on a work trip for some beverages. Drinks were strong, servers were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the tunes were great. Happened to be trivia night which was also fun, trivia host was very friendly and funny!

This is an interesting place. Upstairs is really cool but it’s “members only”, so we unknowingly went up and then found out we couldn’t order/pay for drinks. That is ok, but what is odd is that some folks in my group were upstairs a few weeks ago and were able to charge a round. Maybe it is more flexible during the week vs weekends?
The downstairs is also very nice and it’s definitely a place for the beautiful people with lots of money. We had two house (Tito’s) martinis and a good glass of wine and it was a heavier tab than I expected. We got what we ordered but I probably should have looked closer at the prices so I would not have been surprised. Hey, it’s Manhattan beach and it’s a cool vibe. Just don’t go in unless you are ok with dropping some coin.

Bar tender immediately came at me when I walked in and was flat out rude asking my name and where I had come from and how I was planning on getting home …. Didn’t believe me when I said I had come from the gym and just am a nervous person with asd … I just came to watch a friend play music … not that I would have ordered any food or mocktail after treated like that … empathy and kindness go a long way .. can’t imagine how she would deal with a true situation if this is how she treated a completely sober person who just was a little off from some personal experiences.

Best little coziest bar in town and we love the live music and Eva was a fun, cool bartender. The guitarist made our night. Keep the live music coming! Drinks are great too.

I guess I should’ve read reviews before I went. Service is terrible. I haven’t seen bartenders smile once. When wanted to order drinks, bartender was more involved with Celine Dion’s song than taking an order. For the price you are paying for your cocktails you should at least get a smile.

$85 before tips for 3 drinks!!!! Not to mention my old fashioned was the only mixed drink and was horrrrrrible!!!!! It was wayyyy too loud and a super loud eclectic atmosphere… took like 25min waiting at the bar w my credit card out to get our drinks. No reason to return at this point….

Watch your credit card charges at this place!! I had 1 whiskey and got charged $100. Nobody answers the phone and after going in personally and told the owner would call me back, still nothing.
