I decided to try this local bar after checking into my room at the Smith Rock Resort.
The menu featured burgers, salads, appetizers, steaks and pizzas.
I did not find much that was appealing and ordered a pizza
and an iced tea.
After selecting my toppings, I waited about an half hour for my pizza.
The server was friendly and gave updates on my order and refills on my iced tea.
The pizza had a thin crust with a light amount of sauce with pineapple and Canadian Bacon.
It was a solid pizza for a bar
that serves a limited menu.
The Sandbagger Salon is located on the Crooked River and a few minutes from the Smith Rock Resort.

This restaurant obviously caters to golfers. Music in bar was way too loud. Everyone was yelling to talk to each other. Moved to dinning room. Much better!

After 12 years of going to this place my family and I will not be back. Worst service ever. We waited almost an hour to have our order taken even thought they weren’t busy when we arrived. Everyone at our table was served there meal except for me. I was told I would get mine when they had time. It’s unfortunate because this place used to be really good.

Good entertainment. Karaoke on Fri eve after 8. Shuffle board. I had the French dip that was quite good. They need another staff member right now. So the service was a little slow. Reasonable pricing on food and drink, when compared to average Central OR prices.

My gf and I stayed next door at Smith Rock Resort. The resort is great, but this place is not. If you aren’t a golfer or a single person it’s quite obvious you aren’t worth the time in here. It’s very unfortunate the resort gets associated with this place. We ended up leaving after 20 minutes of zero service, no waters, no menus, and no we will be right with you. We had to get menus from another couple that were also sitting waiting since before we got there. We drove into Redmond for a much better experience. Definitely won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend this to our friends or family.
