Sancho’s Taqueria is an authentic Mexican eatery with three locations and a mobile taco truck in the San Francisco Peninsula. Open since 2005, it is home to the Bay Area’s famous Baja Style Fish Tacos and Carnitas Burritos. Sancho’s is managed by Adam Torres, formerly of Village Pub and Boulevard, and features traditional Mexican folkloric artwork in a family-friendly atmosphere. It’s been a long time since I’ve been back, but they’re fish tacos are legit! Grilled or fried, they are golden nuggets of joy! The shrimp tacos were okay and the Cali Nachos were just okay. Great service as always! Recommended!

Picked up food here for the first time yesterday. It was OK. Had the fish tacos which people recommend and it was fine. I’ve definitely had better. The bean and cheese burrito was good not very flavorful, but I would get here again. You can order ahead, which was nice. Good prices!

It’s cash only so bring cash. They do have an ATM machine inside though.
Lots of seating inside and some tables outside too.

We come here often because the staff is friendly and the food is reliably good. We like their fish tacos (grilled or battered and fried), and we also like their burritos and chimichangas too. Chips and guacamole are good as well. Bring cash or use their ATM. There are some tables outside if you’d rather enjoy the weather, but they do have tables inside and a restroom. It’s perfect if you’re not in the mood for a long sit down experience, quick and tasty food!

The taco salad is really good; I like to order it with meat on top (particularly the chorizo). The fish tacos are great here too, albeit very difficult to find on the menu.

Good stuff. Got the fish and chorizo tacos. The fish taco is the highlight. Chorizo could be a little juicier but overall pretty good. Salsa de habanero was good and just hits the right spot for spicy.

This place is overpriced, inflated, ordered the chicken flautas and the chicken had a really bad taste. I tried this place once again after my first visit about a year or so ago which was the same , not good. You have to wonder why this place has over 4 stars when it should be like a – 1 star the most.

I got the super veggie burrito and it was pretty average for what you can find in Palo Alto. I will say that the salsas they have are incredible and them alone make it worth going here (really liked the habanero one)!
