I know inflation hits us all, but 20 bucks for a tri tip burrito is outrageous, especially when it’s not nearly as good as how you guys made them in 2020/2021. Also your spicy salsa is no longer spicy. I can’t speak on the other items, maybe they are all as great as they used to be, but it feels like quality has suffered, while (not your fault) prices have gone past that of what is fair for a burrito (no chips, no drink). Hate to give a bad review, but I felt robbed on all fronts. Will come back in a year or so next time I’m in town. At least you keep the little guy in the trash can smiling.

Came in on Memorial Day after a long day at the beach. The staff was so friendly and the decor of the place was really fun! So Chicano and a bit kitschy but in the best way. The real highlight was the food! The meat in the tacos was divine and the guacamole was seasoned perfectly. So delicious and flavorful and it came out about 10 min after ordering. Very impressive cause we ordered a lot! I will definitely be back again soon, can’t stop craving that surf and turf burrito!

3 ½ /5. I decided to check out Sanchos while I was in the area after hearing good things from friends. They warned me that while the food is great, it can take a while to prepare, so their advice was to order ahead. I called in for a carne asada burrito, only to find out they actually use tri-tip instead.
As a first-time visitor, I asked for both green and red salsa, only to be surprised by a $1 charge for the extra, which came in an extremely small portion. Unfortunately, the salsa didn’t even live up to expectations, making that extra charge feel like a letdown.
On a positive note, the tri-tip had a sweet flavor, but I found it surprisingly disappointing overall. The rice and beans, however, were quite good. Despite this mixed experience, I’m planning to give Sanchos another shot soon!

Was in the neighborhood and nearly missed this place driving bye. It is a hole-in-the-wall kinda funky joint nestled up on a strip mall in the middle of nowhere. They appear to have 8 locations throughout OC and N. San Diego and have made a name for themselves with their eclectic vibe and gringo style mexican eats. The atmosphere was true funk and was interesting to admire all of the trippy art around every corner. The menu has some unique concoctions and provides some basic ingredients mixed with a little voodoo funkalicious blends. The Cali burrito was tender meat infused with some delicious crunch. The Verde sauce was the best choice with this mix of burrito ingredients. The fish taco was delicious, but the meat and sauce mix on the O.G was a little odd for their tastebuds to truly enjoy. Not a bad little joint… Would definitely try this place again or even a different location to compare goodness with. Could have spent a few more minutes shooting this place for more photos, but it was busy… Next time!

Portions good, food was tasty, atmosphere has a lot going on. Unique art all over walls and some for sale. The flounder taco was just okay, fish was supposed to be grilled but felt more like it was baked. Enjoyed the Skrimp taco had big meaty shrimp beer battered. Carnitas burrito was flavorful with Spanish rice, pinto beans and tortilla was grilled to keep it together with option of red or green sauce. Everything is a la carte. The drive thru was closed, speaker issues it said on a written note.

These tacos were definitely the most overpriced subpar tacos I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’m not sure who is giving these eight dollar tacos a five star. They’re literally the size of a normal street taco with half the meat. One of my tacos was supposed to be fried fish and it was soggy and a small piece of fish that looked like a fish stick from McDonald’s was thrown in the middle of it. You would be better off going to literally any random taco food truck for half the price and 10 times the quality.

Wonderful fish tacos. But $80 for tacos for 3 people and an order of guacamole???? We could have had lot better food for that.
We went through the drive-through. It took about five minutes to prepare our tacos. Also, the Carnitas tacos were wonderful. Maybe not quite as good as the fish tacos but still out of this world. The guacamole mole was well seasoned than the chips were crispy not greasy..

This place serves my favorite taco. My go-to is the Fedarale taco (pork carnitas). The meat is so juicy and flavorful on its own it doesn’t need a bunch of toppings. They also serve mini churros with a dipping sauce, sweet and crunchy! Indoor seating is available in addition to a drive thru. 100% recommend trying this place!

I highly recommend a visit to Sancho’s Tacos. Living in Southern California I’ve eaten many tacos, and been to several great places. Sometimes even the hole in the wall places have fantastic food. Sancho’s Tacos not only has outstanding food, but the décor is something to experience. I had the O.G tacos with Tri-Tip, Fresh Onions & Cilantro, Sour Cream, Chubbie Sauce. Tri-Tip on a taco…Yes please! The Federale tacos with Slow Roasted Carnitas, Fresh Onions & Cilantro, Sour Cream, Chubbie Sauce. I also shared some of the CaliGuey burrito with Angus Tri Tip, Fresh Guacamole, Cheddar Jack Blend, French Fries, Sour Cream in a Char-Grilled Tortilla. You won’t go wrong with any of these choices. Something awesome about living in such a large and diverse place as Southern California, is the opportunity to experience a variety of cultures, and share in unique eats. I’m not saying that tacos and burritos are necessarily directly from Mexican culture, but more of an evolution of a great melting pot. Let’s continue forward embracing differences and sharing great ideas, and experiences. Anyways, I’m looking forward to going back myself, and bringing others when I have visitors from out of state. It will be a hit!
