The spinach pies at Sanabels taste like the ones my Lebanese grandmother used to make. Incredible! I certainly enjoy all the food here. It’s nice to order an array of items for family gatherings. So worth the trip. Incredible people and a lovely little spot for take out.

I finally stop in after a friend recommended this place several years ago. It’s delicious! The Lentils and Rice comes with pita and salad. Don’t forget the warm rice pudding! The original plan was to share all that with my husband on his lunch break, but it was so delicious. I went back to get my own lunch and then some to take to my mother for her lunch break. It’s a healthier choice! I will be back with friends and family. Also, the owner was a very kind lady.

Best falafel I’ve ever had. Best pita bread I’ve ever had. Delicious, fair priced, and a hidden gem. There were people waiting in line from 20 miles away. Small tables to dine in or you can carry out. Homemade soups and a variety of great options.

Norma is a phenomenal cook and lady! Sanabels was my first experience with Lebanese food and it’s to die for! The shawarma is amazing, everytime. The tabbouli and house salad are a must every visit.

Norma is the Lebanese mother you wish you had. Everything she makes is cooked and seasoned with love. If you don’t eat meat, try her grape leaves, falafel, zataar, and/or spinach pies.

Found this little place and love it. Not much seating but I sometimes sit and sometimes take out, either way I’m always happy.

I am always on the lookout for the best Middle Eastern food within driving distance… and I think I found it for Akron! Amazing flavors. The zaatar bread, baba ghanoush, hummus, tabouleh… all of it was fresh, delicious and authentic. I’ll be back!

The special, lentils with rice, was incredible. Could it be the crispy caramelized onion garnish? Oh yes. “Would you like some more of the onions?” asked the friendly proprietress. Oh yes! This place also has a nice selection of groceries: tahini from Lebanon, Moroccan sardines, intriguing soda flavors (pomegranate, Blue Hawaii). We will be back!
