Sana’a Cafe was a wonderful discovery. We came across it by chance and were pleasantly impressed by the quality of the food and drinks, as well as the inviting atmosphere and overall ambiance. Everything we tried was excellent, from the pistachio latte and pomegranate tea to the hot chocolate and several appetizers. Each item was flavorful and well prepared. The only aspect I personally did not like was the prayer corner located at the front of the café, it felt like it was right in your face. Overall, it is a lovely place, and we will certainly look forward to visiting again the next time we are in the area.

Visited this place recently with my family and it was amazing. The service was great: staff is very friendly, attentive, and we didn’t wait for long at all. We have ordered hot chocolate, milk cakes, and coffee, and it was all very delicious. Especially Yemeni latte that absolutely has my heart now — seriously, that was amazing. I cannot wait to go back and try more coffee and sweets!

The atmosphere is also really nice — they offer a great deal of fun stuff to do, including chess and jenga, and I would like to add some bonus points for Assala’s song on the radio! It was a very happy experience for all of us. حلو اوي ما شاء الله

May I ask, is rose milk cake pink inside? I wanted to try it but was hesitant because I am not a fan of food coloring.

Thank you!

We randomly stopped by to grab some dessert after seeing this place’s high ratings, and I’m glad we did! It’s a clean and vibrant Yemeni café. My husband got the Biscoff Latte (so good!) and I had the Pumpkin Spice Yemeni Latte. We also tried the small Dubai cheesecake and Pistachio cheesecake. Both were delicious and not too sweet. Loved the décor and design, and the staff were super friendly. No wonder they have a 4.8 rating. We’ll definitely be back!

I came on a Wednesday afternoon around 2 PM by myself to get a drink and a bite to eat. I got the Sanaa latte and the honeycomb. I would very much recommend the honeycomb, it has cheese like a halloumi or feta type, and honey on top served warm. Definitely not something you can hold in your hand and eat, best with a knife and fork. Drink was good but a little too much cinnamon for my taste. They have games to play. I believe they also have Wi-Fi.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful cafe, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The drinks were outstanding, especially their Yemeni specialty coffee, which is a must-try for any coffee enthusiast.

The atmosphere is both cozy and sophisticated, perfect for professionals looking to unwind, meet a colleague, or simply enjoy a quiet moment. The design and decorations beautifully reflect Yemeni culture, adding a unique and warm touch to the space.

And don’t miss out on their Honeycomb pastry (it’s one of the best I’ve ever had!) it’s filled with a generous amount of cheese, crispy on top, warm, and just the right level of sweetness. Unlike other thick pastries, this one is perfectly balanced and done right.! Overall, this cafe is a true gem, and I highly recommend it.

Plus, they’ve just opened a new location in Elk Grove! Five stars all the way!

Sorry about the photo, we couldn’t wait, so we dived right in ! Haha

A friend and I checked out this place on January 7th around lunch time. We had both seen this on our Instagram reels and through the Yelp Sacramento Instagram page and decided we needed to give it a try.

When you walked in the cafe was not super busy but it did have a good amount of people. People were both outside and inside the cafe. As you walked in there was some nice music playing in the background. It was not too loud just enough volume to hear it while still being able to have a conversation with the person in front of you or maybe even a table over.

The counter that had all the food and snacks and pastries was definitely the showstopper because everything just looks so vibrant and delicious. When we got to the register the person behind asked us to be at any questions especially since we had told her it was our first time there. She gave us a rundown of the most popular drinks and food based on what she told us we got the following:

Yemeni latte, Pistachio Latte, meat and Chicken fatayer, beef sujuk, and rose water cake

We really enjoyed the food items we got specifically the fatayers. They had such amazing spices. It was nothing but flavor bomb in your mouth. The beef sujuk was also delicious and I want to make sure this is clear it was amplified more with the sauce that it came with. Without the sauce it was still very good but it helped to enhance the flavors and give it a little bit of citrus goodness that it needed.

Are two lattes were phenomenal both had the essence of the ingredients come through and nothing was fighting each other. I would hands down come back to try the other lattes that they have there.

Also to finish with the rose water cake was phenomenal. It was not overly sweet or overpowered by the rose water. It was simply divine.

If you’re in the area please come check this place out cuz again we had nothing there that was not delicious.

Every time I walk in, the place feels welcoming, clean, and full of good energy. The staff here are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and they actually take their time with you, remember your order, and make you feel like family.

The drinks are amazing (seriously, everything slaps), the vibes are calm, and the attention to detail is what makes this place stand out from every other café. You can tell they really care about quality and about the community.

Whether you’re coming to study, chill, or just grab something good! Sana Cafe never misses.
Highly recommend. This spot deserves all the love.

The honey comb bread was so soft and delicious
Highly recommend Sanaa cafe to everyone I know! Plus it’s open late which is nice for a family friendly late night adventure.
(Plus they have a little musalah area for muslimeen to do Salah which is so convenient!)
