Accidentally stumbled across this small spot in an alley and so glad we did! Drinks are definitely primarily tequila based which neither of us gravitate towards but we both found multiple that we really enjoyed because they are well balanced and expertly crafted. Handled it and dim lights plus retro music gives us a laid-back yet cool vibe and I highly recommend you come here! drinks are reasonably priced at $14 for anything and five or so mocktail options for those who prefer an alcohol free experience.

We were in Bend with our son and daughter in law when they suggested going to San Simon “in an alley” for drinks before dinner. What a totally fun experience. Yes, it is in an alley, (thank you city of Bend), and has some super-cool outdoor seating. Go there to see it. Serving us was Claire and she definitely brought the cool San Simon vibe to our experience. Drinks, laughs and giggles were shared all around and we felt totally at home in the bar. Claire was on top of checking in and approved when I asked her if we could leave Ginger hanging from the shot glass. It was great to see a funky side of Bend as opposed to the brand new high-end establishments.

Cool and interesting cocktails, great vibes and friendly staff. Sat at the bar on a Saturday night and it was such a great time. Just feels like a place that you feel welcome. The two cocktails I ordered were both complex and well balanced.

What an absolute gem! We were visiting and kind of stumbled upon this watering hole. The drinks were fantastic and the staff so kind and friendly. The bartenders made multiple thoughtful recommendations for dinner. Will definately be back a ton once we move here!

Down the alleyway, enveloped in an inviting kind of warm and glowing darkness. No pretense here just excellent drinks and staff. Tables spaced nicely for intimate conversations. Their Old Fashioned was the best we ever had, not too sweet. $3 PBR Tall Boys out of the can! The outside seating looked a different kind of cool but I suggest the inside.

An excellent spot that is tucked away in a quaint downtown alley. Drinks were perfectly prepared and delicious. Service was helpful and paced to let you enjoy the atmosphere. Food was fun and tons of little appetizers. Outside seating is rad anytime of year. Parking is available close. I stop in any time I’m downtown..

our server Alisa was so kind! I don’t normally leave reviews but her service is exceptional so I felt she deserved some praise! The music was a bit loud because I was sitting next to the speaker and she graciously turned it down a little bit for me. So kind! I also ordered a drink I didn’t particularly like and she helped me with a new recommendation and got me a drink I really did enjoy! Every step of the process she was so attentive and nice. I hope you have her as your server if you get the pleasure of coming here!

I grew up in Bend and have visited a lot of the local establishments over the years. San Simon is always at the top of my list for a cocktail. The atmosphere is really warm and cozy, the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, and all of the drinks are incredible. I always try to stop in when I come back to visit.

Our son and his wife were so excited to take us to
This cool back alley cocktail bar. He and his wife are 26 and accidentally left his wallet at home. He had a photo of his ID. They refused service without ID which I understand. But when he tried a sip of his wife’s drink the waiter ran over and grabbed his shoulder and said “hey bud I can’t have you sipping anything without ID” At least he had a nice half glass of warm water to enjoy. Drinks were well made though and he gave us some courtesy drinks at the end when he realized I was unhappy. Still it was a disappointment.
