After a long day of travel, coast to coast, we got in late and needed food on the way to our accommodations.
We all agreed on sushi, and San Sai was close to the main road.
The sushi was good, the floors not sticky, and there were people waiting for take out. All good things.
We would have preferred table service, not toting around trays of food and clearing our own table.
But again the sushi was good, only thing I did not like was the Thai salad.
We would visit again.

Great Japanese inspired food and Hawaiian food. They give large portion. Every upgrade to large combo seems worth it. Salmon grill was very good. Dumpling soup was quite Americanized but it’s still delicious. Sushi comes in a really large bite! I somehow got the idea from the Japanese words written in the restaurant that this would be pretty authentic. They’re actually very delicious and flavorful but a bit far from being authentic.

Parking is free and plentiful here. Nice location because it’s next to other shops and close to Costco. This is a good place for a quick bite to eat, I love the spicy tuna hand rolls and the shrimp tempura. I usually do take-out but I had time to dine in today and the place was clean and comfortable. Nice that they have Jarritos available as a drink option!

I used to eat at SanSai frequently a few years ago. The food tastes good and you get quite a bit but the prices are just too high. I also got bad indigestion about an hour after eating. I hate to give bad reviews as I know all businesses are struggling now, but I won’t be back.

Chill place with open seating. I ordered the salmon roll and the shrimp tempura roll, both 6 piece. Pretty good! Spent $20 for both plus a drink.

I’ve ordered from here a few times and every time I’ve ordered chicken katsu, the chicken is gray/ brown or even clear in some areas. Soaked with way too much oil and overcooked time and a time and again. Using poor quality meat, not a chicken breast. I choked down a spicy tuna roll to find the cucumber at the bottom discolored and sour, pictures were submitted.
