You deserve better. It’s not bad for the price, but I really should have gone to Sawtelle. I had the tempura sushi combo. The batter was too hard and the sushi rice was ..weird? However the whole thing was like $13 and it also came with two salads and rice, which is a ton of food considering this is Santa Monica.

Great price and food for a quick bite or meal. No frills but the staff is friendly with a smile. The Japanese rice is spot on in texture and consistancy. I love their chicken bowl, which is actually in a plate.
