My go to is the wood fired pizza which pairs well with a microbrew
Lots of tables, sofa and outside patio seating with heated lamps
Plus lots of big screens high definition TVs with sports channels
And for those who need to do some remote work while enjoying a meal or drink, there’s free WiFi
2 hours Validated parking ️ available; free street parking Sundays and holidays
Perfect ambiance for group gatherings and conversations
Cheers,

I had to try the Hella Good Burger, and it definitely lived up to the name. The burger was very well seasoned, super juicy, and served on a soft potato bun that was honestly one of the best parts. It was a little messy, but in the best way — overall a really hella good burger.
We also shared a margarita pizza from Pizza Bocca Lupo. The pizza was excellent: the sauce had great flavor and the crust was even better, perfectly cooked with a nice texture.
Overall, this is a fun spot with tons of food options and a great atmosphere. Definitely a place you can come back to multiple times and try something new each visit. I’ll for sure be back to try more.
It’s a very nice area where you can dine and hangout. They even have a stage where performers can sing in front of the audience. It seems that many people come to Downtown SJ for this location, because while I was walking around, there’s not that many people until I came to this market.
They even have a water dispenser so that you don’t have to ask for water from any food vendor.
The variety of food alone feels like someone spun a globe, pointed blindly, and said, “Yeah, let’s serve all of that.” Want tacos? You’ll find tortillas puffing on the griddle and salsas bright enough to wake the sleepiest taste buds. Craving pizza? There’s dough spinning through the air like a mini–Cirque du Soleil performance. Fish and chips? Crispy, golden, and steaming like it came straight out of an English seaside fryer. Indian food? Spices bloom from those stalls—cumin, cardamom, chili—each one whispering promises of comfort and fire. And when you need to cool down, reset, or just enjoy the energy of the place, there’s always a bar waiting with something cold, smooth, or sparkling.
Despite the crowds, seating never feels like a battlefield. There’s ample room to settle in—inside, outside, tucked into corners, or right out in the open where you can people-watch to your heart’s content. Families, couples, tech workers, the pre-show crowd, the post-work crowd—they all blend into one big, cheerful urban hum.
Everything was excellent. San Pedro Square Market isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to graze, wander, sip, and soak in the good life for an hour or an afternoon. A colorful little oasis in downtown San Jose that delivers every time.
The fish and chips are okay. The calamari is terrible, chicken burgers also bad, but hamburger is better!
They even have a band playing on the Wednesday night, that’s impressive but makes regular conversation almost impossible.
Lots seating between indoor and outdoor area. There are gas heaters available at the outside area that you can turn it on at you discretion!
One other good thing is they have vary clean restrooms!
