In spite of the rave reviews I read to me this place is just okay. The interior of the restaurant looks more like they specialize in take our rather than dine in so expect that. If you order a meal they start you off with a few chips and salsa. Very few. Everything is ala cart. Order Tacos de cerdo sazonados y fritos. Deep fried and seasoned pork tacos. you get tacos that were not especially good and lacked any distinctive flavors. They also failed to show any sign of being deep fried. The rice and beans side I ordered was a little better so I ate a few bites of one of the three tacos and some of the rice and beans. The rest I boxed up and tossed after I left. Service was indifferent. Atmosphere was takeout. What more can I say. Maybe I am a foodie snob but I prefer food that has flavor and the texture that want you come back for more. The size of the meal is a secondary concern. In this case I got three tacos but I would have been happier with two well prepared, flavorful ones. For me it was one and done.

Well, that was delicious.
They deliver green sauce with chips at the beginning of the meal. I put it on everything.
We got picaditas in green and red sauce. We ordered too many. No regrets.
Between my wife and I, we tried five different tacos. They were all delicious. My mother in law had enchiladas mole and has continued talking about how delicious they were for the past hour.
They also put together a chicken and cheese quesadilla that he picked apart while muttering “mmmmmm.” That’s a rave review.

So I decided to do a large order from this place because I heard it was authentic, So I got like 10-15 orders from my coworkers. I first knew something wasn’t right when I took all the orders and called them on and the prices were all wrong, first red flag, then when everyone got there food and I asked them if they were satisfied and not one person said anything nice. They all basically said the same thing, The meat didn’t have any flavor, I mean the onions and cheese tasted good,,,,,,,,
I asked all of my coworkers if they would ever order from this place and every person said “NO”. They would’ve went to taco bell instead. We paid almost close to $200.00. That definitely was a waste of time and money. This is my own opinion and the opinions of everyone who ordered that day.

Holy moley the chef here must be touched by Dionysus or some culinary goddess because this is hands down some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever tasted. I don’t know if I cried but I surely could’ve. The rice. The rice is perfection, I didn’t know rice could be elevated to such a level. The sauce is zesty and unique and I licked the container like a dog, even worse I’m not gonna lie I was down bad for the sauce. The people must know. I got three quesadillas of each variety and they were all delicious. It’s food like this that can turn any kind of day around. God bless, may we all eat this well as often as possible.

Ordered from here for pickup, i arrived 15 minutes after I ordered.
Steak enchiladas with red sauce- this plate was pretty good, the sauce was flavorful and had a nice spicy kick to it, I don’t have many complaints with this other than maybe the sauce being less watery and a bit thicker. Plate was pretty warm to touch.
Cheese enchiladas with green sauce- I was very confused by this, it was not very warm at all, the cheese was in cubes within the tortilla and wasn’t melted. I actually called them and complained but they said that they don’t melt the cheese in this dish but they did offer to make me something additional at no charge. I grew up in El Paso, Texas on the border of Mexico and I have never seen a cheese enchilada where they don’t melt the cheese inside and I’ve had a lot of enchiladas in my life. The green sauce was pretty flavorful though.
Cheese quesadilla – I disliked this thing, it was hard and the cheese is weird. When I opened the container I didn’t know if I ordered a salad but there was a small tortilla under a bed of lettuce.
The beans were just about on point with how they prepare them in the south, the rice was pretty good as well.
In 2021, This place is cash only, I had to walk to the gas station to get cash and spend $3 on a fee, didn’t know I had to plan for this or I would have brought cash from home. Overall, I’m not sure if I’ll be coming back here, I was curious about this place but it’s not hitting home with me and I’ve had some better Mexican food in the area.
