We opened our Mexican restaurant in 2011 with a simple concept, To prepare and serve Fresh and and good tasting food that looks and tastes homemade, And to make customers feel like guests in our casa, We recently made improvements to the interior. Added more chairs and tables but at the same time we left enough room so you don’t feel you are in a crowded restaurant. Cleanliness and overall hygiene is a primary focus for us . We hope you give us the opportunity to cook and serve your favorite Mexican food. Thank you from all of us at our restaurant.

It was a masterpiece; immaculately wrapped and had a perfect distribution of burrito insides… a work of art. A dude picking up his food had to stop and ask about it. He took his sunglasses off lol.
This is a 10/10 place. My husband and I get the carne asada fries every time. Theyre the best here. We were away from home for a while, and the first time we tried this place we actually cried bc it was so good. This is the spot.
Fully Loaded, Fries, Meat, Cheese, Guacamole, Sour Cream
Salsa
Good stop when you are hungry. Portions are very big.
Asada Fries alone fed 3-4 people…
Yum, leaving full.
¡¡ Thank you San Luis !!

We came here the first time for their carne asada fries, and are still coming for it.
Last time I came in and got the camarones a la diabla, and boy was it spicy but tasty!
I love all of their salsas. They also have a super convenient plastic cup and lids organizer for the sauces. The pickled carrots and jalapenos are alao very good.
Highly recommended!
Service was not particularly friendly or unfriendly, just efficient, which I’m fine with. One lady was juggling the counter orders and phone orders at the same time.
The price came out to $22 for a combo plate and a small, refillable soda. A bit expensive since I get this same for less than $17 in El Cajon and there it’s really good.
To top it off, the food arrives and it’s a little disappointing. The meat was dry, overcooked and flaky rather than chunky, moist and tender. The sauce the meat was cooked in barely had any flavor at all. Even the rice and beans were bland.
Anyway, the food wasn’t inedible, just expensive and flavorless. Still, it was busy, so either people like it or they don’t have many options. Either way, I’m in the area a lot, but I won’t be going back.
This restaurant fits solidly into the “local Mexican spot” category. And for that category, it is very good and above average. The food is fresh, authentic, generously portioned, and fast. I would not drive across the county to eat here, but if you are looking for a cheap local Mexican food spot in the area, this is as good as it gets.
Also, the tacos are HUGE. One taco is around $7, which might seem pricey, but they are truly massive. You can order “mini” TJ styles tacos if you want smaller ones. Two of the full-size carne asada tacos will most definitely fill you up.
I tried their 3 Mini TJ Tacos, which offer a taste of the classic Tijuana taco style. I chose the Adobada flavor, and they did not disappoint! The tacos were generously filled with marinated pork, which, unlike the traditional cut-from-shelf meat, was more like a grounded pork blend. The tacos were packed with tender meat and topped with avocado, making them flavorful and satisfying. However, one downside is that the three tacos come in the same flavor—so if you want variety, you’ll have to order multiple servings.
Another highlight is the Tuesday special: Fish Tacos. The crispy fried tortillas held two pieces of battered fish, with a nice crunch and a hint of cabbage and mayo sauce, making it a great choice for those craving seafood.
The space is modest but cozy, tucked away on the corner of a busy road. Expect a line during peak hours, as it’s popular with locals. There is a small outside dining area which might be dog-friendly when dining outside.
Despite the possible wait, the food is definitely worth it—great for those looking for authentic Mexican flavors in a casual setting!
