This place was a godsend for hungry thru-hikers! I loved all of the dessert options they had and the ice cream was delicious and fresh. The cutest part is that they were so hiker friendly and even had a special, massive sundae with a discount for CT/CDT hikers (must pass the “smell” test first! ) This is a must stop if you’re passing through Lake City and craving a sweet treat!

Absolutely incredible!! I come camping annually and omg, we get ice cream here every single day of our 5 day trip. The ice cream is home made and juts PHENOMENAL!! I also adore their sorbet. They have so many unique and tradition flavors and even provide color changing spoons!! Here’s some photos, but I def recommend the key lime pie ice cream, salted caramel, pistachio, and pomegranate sorbet! But my fav is def the raspberry truffle!!

First time in Lake City and was told you couldn’t forgo this spot. Boy were they right. The truly homemade root beer float was so delicious I had to come back later that day to try out the ice cream.

Ice cream’s good. Service can be slow in the small town like that but Just wait your turn and they get to you. They have gift shop.
I have a wonderful outdoor seating.. with dozens of hummingbirds everywhere because of all the flowers.

Friends invited me to go ice climbing in Lake City this year and after doing some research I found that you can rent your climbing gear here! I called and got Christian’s voicemail so I texted him and he got me all set up with my rental. (It’s on the website) Super easy! The shop itself is a lovely gift shop with a wonderful variety of unique gifts- highly recommend! You can also grab a coffee, ice cream, or WAFFLE. Super chill vibe and easy to rent and pick up climbing gear. I would definitely rent my gear from Christian and his team again. If you’re lucky you’ll see him drive out to the ice wall and hand out fliers for a free coffee or ice cream. Most excellent! Thank you!

I tried root beer float with vanilla ice cream and another float with peanut butter cup. I like the vanilla float better.
I had butter pecan and cookie n cream ice cream. Butter pean was great and my sister had roasted coconut, I got to try some and I think roasted coconut is the best, not too sweet and very creamy.
You can always ask to try any flavors you would like before purchasing.

One of my all-time favorite places on earth! Great ice cream treats and milkshakes are served up by some of the nicest people on earth. If you like hummingbirds like I do, you have to sit out in the patio area and watch the hummers do their thing.
