Highly recommended. Have been here almost once a week. Super delicious food. Everything is good. Friendly staff. Only con: we asked for no onions, onions were on our plate. must stress to the staff the importance on people’s allergies. But were able to remove onions from plate without incident.

I’m back yet again here in January 2026. Tried yet another shrimp dish #26 on the menu. The usual hiccups my Pepsi has ice when asked for No Ice. 1 jalapeno instead of 2. No big deal as they corrected it. My go to place for lunch when going to or coming from Laredo.

I just had the most amazing experience at San Juan! The prices are super reasonable, the food is incredibly delicious, and the service is top-notch! The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. I’m so impressed and can’t wait to come back! If you’re craving authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further! San Juan is a must-visit!

We stopped by for breakfast and I ordered the barbacoa plate. It was filled with several items I hadn’t eaten with barbacoa before, like guacamole and nopales (cacti). Surprisingly, it turned out to taste great. I have to be honest, I did not expect the place to be this good. My buddy had the huevos rancheros , which also looked delicious. The salsa and the corn tortillas were tasty, and the bacon was cooked to crispy perfection.

The food here is always good. The salsa they bring to the table is a lil spicy. Maybe skip it if that’s not your thing. The servers are pretty on top of things and your food comes out quickly and it’s always hot.

New staff is not attentive waited for my wife’s plate over 30 minutes and my food was cold once it got here. I was very disappointed in the staff of new years morning.

They have the worst scramble eggs I have ever had,the place was clean and the waitress was nice ,good service, terrible breakfast! Someone needs to train the cooks on how scramble eggs are cooked
