Some of the driest chicken known to mankind With seasoning running away from it. It was like eating chicken fried steak without the breading and it was made last night, left inside the car exhaust to heat it then fried for a good 50 minutes. THIS FOOD MAKES MY MOTHER AND LAW COOKING LOOK LIKE A MIRACLE!

My nephew and I are in the St. Joe area of MO. Decided since it’s been nearly 35 years since I’ve had a Breaded Pork Tenderloin and he has never had one, that we’d try one from San Jose Steakhouse and Mexican!

Four of us went last night as we traveled through St. Joseph. A bigger restaurant inside then we thought. The food was a mix between four of us. Two meals were o.k. and two were not very good. One person in our group could not eat the food. I had the seafood platter and part of the food was burnt and looked like it came out of a box. Therefore, atmosphere was o.k. but the food is mixed.

Nice change of pace restaurant with a friendly staff and tasty food. I usually go with the patty melt or steak sandwich but tonight I went with the steak fajita burrito. I’m glad I made that decision. The steak was nice and juicy and the onions and green peppers coupled with the white queso on top gave the burrito a great taste. The meal also came with refried beans and rice, however I swapped the beans for another helping of rice. Also, included with each Mexican dish is a free order of delicious chips and salsa. Will definitely return.

Food was filling and decent for a Mexican restaurant. They had the white sauce on both the enchiladas and chimichanga. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer & a pitcher of margarita on the rocks. Very filling! Good thing my husband was here to finish the pitcher!

Probably the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. We came for Mother’s Day, all of the food tasted freezer burnt. We ordered the most flavorless nachos we’ve ever had. My husband got a porterhouse steak medium rare that came raw and still cold and i ordered a chicken chimichanga. My rice was burnt and the chicken tasted like the inside of a freezer. My husbands corn on the side of his “steak” was also freezer burnt. We were comped for his steak, but it pains me to have paid for ANY of the food, if you can call it food, that we got.
