I have eating at San Jose at least 5 times now since moving to the area. I always get the margarita flight for $16 you get 4 unique margaritas. Last time it was jalapeño and kiwi, coconut, frozen guava and hibiscus and blueberry and pineapple. I couldn’t pick a favorite because each was so good! I tell everyone who will listen about this restaurant. The service is great, the food top tier and the prices are reason. It is a must try!!

Service was prompt and attentive. Chips came out nice and hot and salsa had some nice heat to it. Lunch specials were a good value. You can get a 2 item combo for $13. Poblano was good. Chimicanga was full of shredded chicken. Chicken Yucatan was a healthier option with zucchini and squash and fresh guacamole salad. Saturdays they also have birra taco and it’s a huge serving. Don’t order the quesadilla lunch special if you’re hungry; the other specials give you more food.
They have a nice mural and plenty of seating. Music was festive, but not too loud.

It was pretty good. Their drinks are what’s special here because the food menu is just about every other Mexican place. My food arrived just as I ordered it which I appreciate. The sangria was not great, but the flight was.

Food and drink good. But the low hanging lights over the booth are ridiculous. I couldn’t see the second persons face on other side of table with out lowering my head every time I wanted to talk that person. Ridiculous. Not everyone is 5 foot. The service was weak. Empty restaurant…got their early ..sat us by the kitchen where there is a lot of noise and constant waiter traffic. Uhh no….I’m here early I pick my spot. We moved and picked a different spot and they complied. Waiter didn’t bring water. Had to request watee. Chips and dip were served slowly. Had to ask for napkins. Had to ask for refill on salsa. One member got the wrong dinner even after coming back up confirm. Overall food served very slowly for a non crowded place. I hope they raise all those lights over the tables to make it hospitable for non short people. Overall restaurant clean and nice decor.

Absolutely amazing. This place has the best chips I’ve ever had, and the cheesy bean dip is the best around. The veggie fajitas were incredible, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The prices are awesome for the quality and portions. The margarita flight was a fun highlight and every flavor was great. Highly recommend!

Walked in to pick up My carry out order waited for 10 minutes for somebody to say hello to me greet me ask me if I needed to be seated or if I was picking up two additional groups were greeted and sat down before me I was ignored like I wasn’t even there was finally greeted when the third group that was getting ready to be seated asked me if I was there first and I told them I’ve been waiting for about 10 minutes. No apology at all just was told that they would be with me in just a minute after they sat down the current people. I was then asked how many people I was sitting with I told him I was kicking up a carry out order. They then disappeared for 10 more minutes only to come back to me and ask me what name it was under instead of asking me what name it was under before they left. Worst service I’ve ever had here!

Had a great meal. Service was attentive and pleasant. The chicken fajitas were large and tasty. The regular and frozen margaritas were also very good. It’s in an old Outback steakhouse, so the layout is the same, but they did a great job on the decor. Everyone liked their food.

Goodness, so much food! Yummy and tasty! I love the shredded chicken enchiladas but had the steak tacos this time and the San Jose Guacamole is Awesome! Dine in atmosphere lively, friendly, with outstanding service. I’m one of their new regulars now! Yay!!!

Nearly everything on their menu is made from scratch. All the food was lovely but there was a bit too much salt in the salsa for my family’s liking. The flan actually had the bitter taste of coffee like it should. Overall my new favorite Mexican restaurant.
